Erm, no-one is gonna like this comment but Typhoon is old-skool interceptor type of plane. Bearing that on mind, I wouldn't place my bet on Typhoon in a dog-fight against SAAB AJS-37 Viggen. Not even against SAAB J35 Draken. Typhoon pilot's only hope is to strike and get out like a bat out of Hell. What?

But it might be and hopefully is, that the Typhoon is different beast right now, than, what It was back then, on 2009! And I'm talking about Its' new Avionic Suit / Suite, that completely new and lot better Radar, the Captor E or something, and other improvements, as that possible improvements to the Typhoon's AirFrame, which name I don't remember right now, but where the Typhoon can turn way / lot better and the Speed doesn't suffer at all!/. But Rafale is still probably the better Jet in the Air = in the mock fights. Why / How It Lost!?!? Because having smaller and lighter wings (main wings) and being way / lot lighter, and Its' smaller wings on the front, oor = or more likely in the middle as in the Rafale, the Canards and Its' Air efficient Air Frame Too = Also, helps more or lot more to the Rafale to maneuver, than the Typhoon! Oor = Or that what I think! And to put simply, is, that the Typhoon is at least mainly an Interceptor, and Rafale is a F/A or F/B! Yes, the Typhoon is way / lot Unstable to control, and that's why Its' needs 70 Computers, or something, to control the entire Jet, and the Rafale needs probably lot less of Its' computers or something. That's why also, the Rafale is way / lot Cheaper to Buy and Maintain and Operate, than the Typhoon! And also Rafale having Simpler Design on Its' Air Frame, makes It way / lot easier and cheaper to Repair, than the Typhoon. And what were the other reasons why the Typhoon lost to the Rafale!?? Because the Rafale is way / lot stealthier etc., than the Typhoon is. Yes, Rafale is way / lot more Stealthier Etc.(that Rafale had better Radar, the RB 2 or something, Its' Sensors was better and there where more of them, than on / in the Typhoon, and Rafale was way / lot more ready = complete, than the Typhoon was!). And Typhoon had no Thrust Vectoring Nozzles integrated and installed on It, and even today, It still doesn't have them and It might be, that the Typhoon will never ever get them, as the Rafale either, but It didn't have either of them, for sure, but still It won = beat the Typhoon so so well!. But right now, the Typhoon's has better Radar, than the Rafale's current, or that what I have heard, 1 = one guy saying about that. But Rafale will have even better and new Radar and Sensors Etc., than right now! Also, what is better in / on the Radar (as you probably knew already all of about This or most of this!) is, that It is way / lot better Attack Fighter, than the Typhoon is! And also, the Rafale is way / lot Cheaper to buy and probably even easier and cheaper to maintain and operate. That, what I have heard = read, that 1 other guy said = had written in here on KZfaq about the 1 = one video, was, that Fixing 1 Wing = 1 main wing on Rafale, costs 45 000 US' Dollars / Euros, where's the Typhoon's costs 100 000, US' Dollars / Euros. What!?!? Yeap, or at least It has been this way. And probably is, because 4 Countries has and is still building and developing the Jet = the Typhoon, where the Rafale is made by only One Country, France! The Typhoon having way / lot more Drag = Airflow Blocking Design, use way / lot more fuel, than the Rafale, oor = or, that what I assume. And Rafale's Engines, the Snecma 88 2 / 4 are smaller and lighter and will be able to give way / lot more thrust, compared to the bigger and heavier EUROJET 200 / 2000, which in the war time, can give = output more thrust and power! But which engine use more Jet Fuel, I don't know!/. But Typhoon in the full = heaviest weapons and fuel loads, can do max 5,5 = 5.5 G's only, and can fly as fast as It can, in that configuration, when needed, which means, the Max speed is Mach 1 or something, I don't know?? Rr is there any speed limitations for the Typhoon!, I don't know. But!, notice this!: the Rafale can only do the 4,5 = 4.5 G's, and is limited to fly only max 1000 km / h! Yes! That they are limited to fly that way if having the Heaviest Weapons and Full Load. Although the Rafale might have and can have even heavier weapons and full loads, than the Typhoon can, so with the same, the Rafale might be able to do the same G Factor / Factors or better or not. I don't know. But do you know more about this?? And if this is the truth, then It is probably, because the Rafale has Thinner, but probably / maybe weaker (main) wings and Air Fame, than the Typhoon has, which is stronger, but way / lot heavier in weight, than the Rafale. But that would be interesting, how long they can fly on each Jet! Paul Smith or some one other, has said, that the Typhoon can fly 6000 Flight Hours, where the Rafale's Flight Hours, I don't know, I have not ready, nor heard anywhere, oor = or I don't know!

poor Eurofighter, in 2009, it was ridiculed by the Rafale, 2 x 4 fights in the Emirates, 4 to 0 for the Rafale, then in an attempt to reduce the capacity of the Rafale, the French mechanics reduced the capacities of the burst by 25 % and at 75%, the 2 Rafales met the 4 Eurofighters, 3 to 1 for the Rafales! still in 2009, at the Solenzara base, 10 fights, 9 to 1 for the Rafale!! and yet, the Eurofighter is more powerful than the Rafale, and it is faster than the Rafale! but despite that, the Rafales made a fool of these poor Eurofighters !! LOL
