REPORT: While Romanian doctors often leave their country to work elsewhere, medical students are flocking to Romania. Our correspondents met some of them at the Medical University of Cluj-Napoca.

I'm currently studying Medicine in Craiova, Romania and I can confirm I love it the lecturers like the students in the video said. I couldn't do it alone so I had to go through an agency (Medlink Students)

man, I went to transylvania, but we did not go to Cluj. The Romanians do know how to have fun, though. Very smart people good education system, my ex was a medical student in Bucharest. i have heard too from outside sources that they are some of the best diagnosticians in the world. they take their medicine seriously too, no malpractice insurance to clear your name, you lose yor liscense if you screw up.

Don't believe the -ve insights!Yes it might be cheaper but the quality is there. It's surely not Harvard or Yale but u are getting more than worth. If u want to splash $40k for Harvard, fine that's your choice but in Romania u are paying 10 times less!!If u wanna be a good doc one day,u have to earn it by urself, not by the name of an institution.I study in Romania and we have students all the way from Japan to the USA.If u think those who come to study in here are fools, sorry u r the bigger fools!

ba nene, tocmai am vazut un reportaj despre un tip care a fost plimbat de la un spital la altul in FRANTA pana a murit, shit happent everywhere daca vrei sa stii asa ca in loc sa arunci noroi mai bine ai fi ceva mai cu capul pe umeri si mai realist in gandire.. n-are rost sa faci valuri degeaba pe materiale bune despre tara, mai bine fa ceva concret in viata ta pentru a schimba macar un om in tara

This video avoids the corruption issue in healthcare, which is huge in all former communist countries. These students from elsewhere could be proactive on this issue. The patient experience, in virtually all Eastern bloc countries, verges on medical terrorism. Patients are often terrified that if the do not pay large informal payments, they will not get treated properly. This can be described as medical terrorism. Romania could become the first former communist country to stop this practice.
