I made my first visit to this stunningly beautiful country on route back to the UK from Hungary. This was a late change of plan, so we crammed in as much as possible so as to enable to pick up the planned schedule. The first location was an all too short visit to picturesque Innsbruck, where I saw my first OBB Class 4020 Unit. We then headed back and stopped off at Jenbach. A very scenic location with plenty to see. Lorry trains, freight and Passenger, both long distance and shorter services. Finally a visit to Kufstein, a short distance to the North of Worgl. A mixture of DB and OBB locomotives were seen on Lorry trains and freight. As I said this was a brief look at what this wonderful country had to offer in that year and I fell in love with it so returned the following year for a longer stay.
I do hope this video entertains and evokes old fond memories of the European Railway Scene of the era.
