As a Norwegian I was SO STRESSED. Personally I didn't think her performance was 100% there, but so happy we made it through!!!

The biggest issue with the performance was the whistle note imo, but when there was one left it was quite clear that it was going to be Norway. But yeah, she's very young and her voice needs maturation. She's a good singer, but not fully "stable" yet. But a very charming girl for sure!

They never show the votes for the semi-finals because they don’t want to give away who has a better chance at winning the final

@@tktoptunes They will release the official results I believe once the contest is over. Then you can also see how the countries voted in the final (the public vote).

But it's kinda clear that Finland or Sweden won this one, just based on the audience. Also I believe the actually post the semi-final votes after the finale happens for transparency. It will be interesting to see this year, because we have way less countries participating and we have added "rest of the world" vote.

@@mjm3091 I think the top 5 might’ve been: 1. Finland, 2. Sweden (so close they might switch), 3. Israel, 4. Croatia, 5. Norway. Idk those just seem the most likely.

So happy for Portugal! It was super interesting i watched it with my friends who've never watched a single bit of eurovision in their life and they particularly like norway, portugal and switzerland. I really wanted Latvia or Malta instead of Croatia though :(

Maybe Malta is just an American favorite? I’m an American and I like Malta’s song this year. While I’m happy for everyone that got through, I’m also sad for those who didn’t. I’m most sad about Malta not qualifying, but I’m most happiest about Switzerland qualifying. I was worried it might not. All the artists did such a great job! And I did cast votes via the website since “rest of the world” is a category. It was fun to get to participate (even though I’m sure my votes are insignificant in the bigger picture). Though by voting, it did make the results part even more anxious. Thanks for sharing your reaction to the results! I love See it. Love your party accessories, too! I hadn’t thought to do that. This year I watched the live show with my mom (her first time watching Eurovision ever), my sister (her second time). My niece usually watches with me, but unfortunately she’s currently sick so she was asleep. Hopefully she gets to feeling better real soon so she can enjoy the other shows.

As far as I remember, the public doesn't get to know the score (the artists know) but the last chosen county got the highest score.

They are revealing the results of the semi finals after the grand final. So you will find out the full ranking on Sunday/monday

Malta, Latvia, Azerbaijan deseved to qualify I thought. Very happy Portugal.did. And I like the Serbian song, even if the vocal wasnt a standout on the night. Norway song is quite bland to me, not sure why it opened.

Points are shown in the final, each semifinal they just show who passed through... they do that so the public doesnt know who the favorites are before the final

I'll have to start by saying I'm not really a Eurovision fan so I dunno, I thought the whole semi-final was a bit meh tbh. I liked Czechia, Finland and well, Sweden but the visuals were not as impactful as in the Swedish competition. It was simply less and as I said I felt a bit meh about the whole thing. Maybe I was in the wrong mood. *LOL* Me = Grumpy
