@@adsmusicalworld Yeah the jury is flawed but they are in my opinion more fair than the public votes, I think that if less power to the juries 40% power for jury and 60% power to the public might be a realistic change, if not then the juries just need to vote better and hopefully the public don't throw amazing artists like Span, Portugal etc. under the bus like they done these past two years.

The public votes for who they like most, clearly finland accummulated most calls, but doesn't mean that who was last wasn't liked by the public. Juries instead have to rank all contestants and the fact that finland or spain didn't make the top 10 for a huge chunk of them is definitely worse that many individuals not calling to vote for spain.

@@Hen1297 the jury agree the votes between themselves in different countries (not all) thats why most of them voted the same way, this isnt a jury but a group to push the commercial music companies that hold the artits they voted for.

I don't think ditching the juries is the option here, all the good quality ballads hardly made the cut in the semi finals. The juries, how and from whom they're formed with is the issue. The number should at least be around 20 per country according to me. This is not a Kaarija/Loreen problem, this year the jury results were all over the place...

People obsess so much over winning, we end up with acts devoid of any originality, that could otherwise showcase each countries' culture. Even if just hinting at it. I think the voting was seriously off. Myself, I tried to vote for Spain and got an auto message saying voting had already closed. This more than 30 min. before they announced it on TV. Strange, but wtv. We got to listen some cool music at least.
