This is what I call a quality song. Amazing vocals, great performance, in native language. This is what Eurovision should be about, singing in your own language, showing off your tradition and culture, showing off music that is typical your country or your region and not give a damn how many people will like it. Not like Sweden which sends a pop song in English year after year. If you can feel something and get touched by a song without understanding the lyrics that's what I consider good music. I listen to music from all over the world and can feel a good song even though I don't understand a single word. It will be tough for Portugal because most people prefer upbeat song but hopefully Grito will be in the finals. 12 points from Serbia.

The song is about mental health struggles. How we feel the need to succumb to the difficulties and our fears. However, there is a little voice in our head that burns that wants us to persevere, transform, win and survive. The dancers represent our inner demons. Iolanda is being chased and threatened by them. However she keeps going, sometimes dancing with them holding on to that burning voice inside her head trying to keep her afloat. Finally Iolanda screams (grito) and the demons, who reached extremely close, fall and get defeated. Iolanda wins, that voice wins. This is how we all can win, just by holding on to that rather weak voice in our head that burns! This is a true, true masterpiece. And if Europe won't be able to see it, I sure hope the juries will. That's the reason they are there. THANK YOU Portugal and Iolanda for giving us this pure masterpiece touching out hearts in such a raw way. I'm grateful
