Every year a fantastic song from Italy! Never wins :( but this might be a good chance! The jury sabotaged Il Volo - will it happen again this year? Let's hope not!

I am italian, and personally i think the only good thing about Il Volo was the voice. The song was just another one about love. Francesco Gabbani is more than that. He is charismatic, a great communicator, he knows the right way to captivate public on stage. And the song is katchy and ironic with very meaningful lyrics. He will have to add few english sentences to let the jury understand the message of the song and why the ape is there eventually, but i trust Francesco because he is so talented :)

Può piacere sia il volo che Gabbani, ma oggettivamente la gente è stanca del solito classicone italiano, sempre la stessa roba rimescolata in mille salse; ormai all'estero ci prendono abbondantemente per il culo perché la nostra musica secondo loro è tutta uguale (e non hanno tutti i torti). That's Francesco Gabbani's "star appeal". He is a showman. He is very communicative and emits a lot of energy with his presence alone. There is some kind of magic in his body language, smile and eyes. I don't know how to explain it. That's a natural gift you have it or not. It's just....amazing! :)

Yes, He is a really great live performer. Lot's of prensence :) But I would also say that the effort of the festival-orchestra lifts this performance to a higher level. Live music rules!
