Kann Mal passieren übt man im Simulator ist ja auch ein gutes Zeichen wenn der Pilot entspannt ist.

Als Autofahrer Gerät man ja auch nicht in Panik nur weil man mal wegen jemand anderem bremsen muß. Zumal hier ja auch keine echte Gefahr vorlag, zumindest noch nicht.

Geilo und am Besten daran ist, dass diejenigen die da als allererstes Stönen es zu 120% schon im zweidimensionalen Verkehr, der 10 mal so langsam ist wie ein Flugzeug, schon nicht hinbekommen die Verkehrsregeln einzuhalten, aber Bundestrainer-Like von der Couch aus dann als erstes kommentieren.... da sind diese Leute die größten drin... und nein ich war nicht der Trainingsflieger ...

The announcement the captain made was basically that they had some training flight crossing through the airspace and it wouldn't have been safe to take off. That could've gone very very very badly.

@@simonpeters2128 Wo ist denn die 747 dann gelandet in Berlin? Ich dachte in Schönefeld reicht der Runway gar nicht aus, vor allem vom Gewicht her... das größte was von da so geflogen ist ein A330 oder mal eine 757, wenn überhaupt. Und in Tegel bin ich immer nur in A320 oder 737 gestiegen...

You sure? ''crossed our departure sector'' Thats sounds like a GA airplane that was in air at the time that would have been a hazard shortly after takeoff. In my experience as a pilot ,sector refers to airspace. Not taxiway or runway. I could be wrong just my 2 cents

The Captain said that a training flight crossed his departure sector (the airspace for his climb out of the airport). Air Traffic Control [ATC] would have seen it heading towards his sector and told the Captain to abort. The aircraft has a system to warn of conflict in the air called TCAS -Traffic Collision Avoidance System but that wouldn't give the information that it was a training flight in the airspace so the info must have come from ATC - they look after you very well, saved me from near miss from a lost training flight once!

He said sorry for the aborted Take off but a small Training-Plane was crossing the departureroute near the Runway

Damals zum Crewtraining. Ist aber nicht ungewöhnlich, dass Airlines Widebodys auf solchen Strecken einsetzen Eurowings ist eine Zeit mit A340 von Düsseldorf nach Wien geflogen...

I think they didn`t go forward because of the air resistance, the aircraft was still moving forward relative to the air outside, maybe if the raindrops were inside they could have gone forward :)

certainly looks >100knots and then you are basically go-minded in a 330, your V1 becomes theory... Every runway in function of the WX is different but a hundred is always the same. I do agree, if they were close to V1, you would just continue and avoid that training flight with TCAS and the likes
