👍🏼 Looking pretty good. I got the 18” wheels on my ‘21 M3SR+ but I could not stand the look of the aero wheel covers. So I pulled them off and stored them in the garage, where they’ve sat ever since. I think it’s pretty cool that my car came stock with 2 very different wheel looks! But personally (and this is just my opinion) I think the small efficiency penalty I pay minus the aero covers is an acceptable price for the smile the wheels put on my face every time I walk up to the car.

Hey FTG! Long-Time Subscriber here. Just a tiny, tiny nit: you're missing a valve stem cover (rear-left). You don't want debris (dirt, sand) to get in there and cause issues. Keep up the great content!

Better move is keeping the stock wheel and doing this. Better ride, range, and cheaper. 18inch wheels all the way 😆

What is purpose of this foam? I did not use it on my winter tires, rims and I have not observed any negative effect..

Great video. I got a certified used 2023 M3 with 19" alloys and would love to try some of the futuristic covers. Sadly there's almost none for the 19s. These are the exception and look nice, but I'd refer some white flat futuristic ones

If you want, you can still get wheel covers that look exactly the same as the sport wheels for under 200 bucks.

I have a set of these on my Model Y LR. They look much better on the Midnight Silver Metalic than the standard covers.

how do I take these off?

I curbed my 2023 Model 3 shortly after taking ownership. Picked up a set of the covers, and I curbed the covers😅. So I purchased a 2nd set of covers. Now I've got spares for the next time it happens. But the white-black contrast looks great in my opinion.

I have 2019 mdl 3 with standard 18” wheels and aero covers. From RPM Tesla I bought PPF as same color as car- (red) , and put on aero covers. BIG DIFFERENCE- beautiful. No need for expensive wheels.

I had curb rash on my new Tesla within 3-4 months of getting my Tesla. End of lease is coming up in a few months and I've been worried about how much they will charge me for this!

You could avoid hitting the curb.

They look ok but I much prefer the car with silver wheels. Also clip a kerb with those on and it’s ruined 🤔

Sorry, I think the real frugal tip is that the 18" aero wheels with the aero covers removed looks way better and saves $1700 ($1500 for the 19" sport wheels + $200 for these covers).
