I'm constantly improving and this was hard to watch even my videos from a few weeks ago xD thanks for reviewing them man I've gotten a little better. It just took dropping to 1200 first to do it

Kudos for your ability to take your failures and learn from them dude, honestly that’s a proof you’ll get much better as time goes! :)

I’m in the same boat, I knew I wasn’t ready for masters but got promoted and got my ass kicked down to 1300. I feel very far behind in terms of skill atm and the tilt is getting to me

@@Achallon I don't think it's "Not being ready for masters" I think it's more like "Not being ready to stop flowcharting." Im still 1300 rn but I still 10-0 a good chunk of Diamond 3-5 players. I think the skill gap from 1200-1500 MR and 1650 MR is about as big in gap from D1 to Masters in my opinion. It's just a completely different way to play.

@@ZketchFGCAgree 100%. Got promoted to Master 1 week ago, get my ass kicked to 1300 in a night because I've tilted badly. What I've learned is not being too aggressive and to commit less to unsafe/risky moves. In Master everyone can punish you properly, so it's better go for less but efficient stuff

Hey, I really like this type of video analysis. I appreciate how well you always explain things. Compliments also to Zketch whom choose to let all of us watch his replays. It could be a traumatic experience to watch your mistakes but it's the best way to improve yourself.

I got to master being a casual player thanks to your guides. I wish i could play more consistently to improve more. Jamie is frustrating sometimes, but definitely too much fun.

Match analysis of fellow Jamie players is awesome, but I'd have such a hard time watching my own gameplay LOL

It's crucial to learn to watch it because you will observe your gameplay in a different way, you can learn more from it since you're watching it from a spectators pov

@kaution6829 Indeed, VOD review is so important but I've never been good about actually doing it 💀 definitely a habit I wanna fix over the summer when I have a bit of time lol

Hey Kaution, id like to pick your brain on lvl2. Im trying to develop a flow chart for its usage and i would love your opinion.

I usually use it for 3 reasons, 1. If I can kill by extending the combo, 2. If I get an od palm combo mid screen to push them in the corner and go for maximum pressure. 3. As a plan B when my od bakkai gets blocked after a poor read of a fireball

@kaution6829 Gotcua, one thing I don't see many Jamie's do is doing the palm follow up to open ppl up. You can delay the second hit of od palm for quite awhile and then make it safe with the lvl 2 cancel. For me, ppl press there like 90% of the time.

I'm almost ready to argue lvl 2 is the way to go off of any DP punish you can't kill while lvl4. Being able to do max damage and building the bar to immediately do another lvl2 on the ensuing mix is strong.
