Amazing doesnt even say it. This is always a hard song for me to listen to. My grandpa passed 22 yrs ago. 2 days after laying him to rest, i heard this playing(evenescence version). I lost it and hit the floor. Still to this day i cant make it thru the whole thing without getting choked up. Thank you Violet for doing such a fantastic job with this cover. Very well done.

Beautiful as always. This cover also gives you a new appreciation for Amy Lee’s vocals. So much power and emotion in this song. There’s one thing that I’ve noticed across many of your covers, and that’s when the end of a phrase finishes with a long-e and has a single consonant, like an L, the consonant tends to get softened almost to the point of becoming a vowel itself as you pull away... like the word ‘Heal’ becomes ‘Hea-o’... words with double consonant endings like ‘fears’ and ‘tears’ seem to benefit from a full enunciation because you have to get to the ‘s’ sound at the end. Definitely not a critique from a person who has very little singing ability (so I scream in a metal band instead haha), but just an observation. Again, outstanding cover. Thanks for sharing your gift :)

As amazing as this is, and boy howdy it is, you can tell your voice has grown even more impressive in the 3.5 years since this was shot. It might actually be frightening how phenomenal your singing becomes in another 3.5 years. So much talent and so much effort put in. Just make sure to take care of yourself and don't overdo it. Adele is only 80% or so of what she was before her vocal cord surgery, and hers was one of the best outcomes from that.

My Immortal is my favorite song of all time, it has a lot of personal meaning for me and I thus hold the original in very high regard and tend to be very critical of any covers of I find. This one is perfect, in my opinion. Absolutely. Perfect. Had goosebumps pretty much all the way through. Exploring your channel and all the various covers you've done has been a very rewarding way of spending my time during this quarantine. I hope to see a lot more of you in the future. :)

The only difference I find from you and Amy Lee is word pronunciation and that you hold the notes for a shorter amount of time. I love the difference! Can you sing lithium next??
