Returning back to work from AHR 2024 in Chicago. First day back had a few service calls as well as doing an evaporator coil change out. And using a puller method to remove a blower motor from the squirrel cage and housing. This one goes out to Ted Cook. Enjoy .

I think the videos prove there's more than one way to do it. Options are always great to have. I have a puller but never used it (yet). Can't wait for your stepdad's video. :)

Absolutely!! There’s tons of ways for sure! I don’t use the puller every time, but it’s there. Now I’ll be using the sds from now on seems a whole lot more fun

Brother, noone can question the rusty blowers here in FL, FL humidity beats any other state no doubt. So the puller is extremely ideal and urgent here. But I beg you to get them quarter inch connecting wire brushes from harbor freight or walmart. Sandpaper slows you down a bit. Overall, great video as always G!

On his job,he destroyed the motor and wheel,but i would move bulb when brazing.your tool is 50.00,his is 975.00.

Destroyed ?? No, that is not correct on the wheel... but the blower?? it is already a bad motor or we usually would not pull it at all. Just curious how you figure I destroyed anything ?

If you hit the blower wheel to break it loose with a sledge hammer,the motor is done,in my opinion,to do a pull and clean.and i believe you used a hammer.@@TedCookHVAC

@@MariosACandRefrigeration No sir I did not do any "pull and clean" and I probably never will... I only ever remove a motor from the blower assy. if the motor is bad.

You started before the timer did when taking the puller off. Did ya clean the inside of the cabinet before you put the New coil in, that back plate look dirty. How about an independent tech pick the blower motors for the both of you?

Oh man Ok add a second on for that 😂 🤦‍♂️ used some simple green and wiped it down, it was definitely nasty in there! Ted said he may ship one to me if he can find one.
