Welcome to my epic roadtrip across Iraqi Kurdistan, everyone! This journey took me from the abandoned palace of Saddam Hussain, to a Kurdish home, to monasteries in the mountains, to mountains of pomegranates.
Hope you enjoyed this one and let me know what I missed, and what I should check out on my next visit!

I really appreciate what Baderkhan commented about the people of the Middle East. The people that live there are people with the same hearts as everyone else and they want to be happy. Just like anyone else, they want to protect their family and children from danger. We really need to learn how to appreciate and look for the good in each other. "...God is not partial, but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." Yes, we need to accept each other and not be prejudiced.

Amazing video! Now I wanna go to Kurdistan! All people should travel more to get rid of all the fears and wrong stereotypes that they imagine of foreign places. The world is much better than it appears to be on the news♥️

I loved my Kurdish peshmurga brothers in arms when we were sent to Iraq. They were an amazing bunch. I often find myself wondering how many of them survived the fight with ISIS.
