Great video! She’s shiny from flash photography, cameras weren’t as good back then and any low light shots needed a flash. Not controversial to do dark liner with light lipstick! It was a high trend. False lashes existed… but any photos you can find of someone wearing them look awful. No one trimmed the lashes. Make up artist contoured (but that’s about it), I still have all my Kevyn Aucoin books.

Your make up is beautiful . You pull it off well .Pamela’s make up artist was the best make up artist in the world and I absolutely loved her make up line. I have been doing my make up like Pam’s , since the early 90’s with the big blonde hair. And YES , we did contour back then . Everyone one was trying to re create the high cheek bones and the little noses. I would get my make up tips from either Ru Paul with MAC , Alexia Vogel or the make up book “ Making The Face “ ,by Kevyn Aucoin

Absolutely nailed it! Highlighting was not mainstream at all in the 90s, we were just running around with shiny faces hahaha. Makeup has become so much more refined now, as has the techniques we use to apply it. I got so nostalgic seeing this though :D

In the 90s they did some kind of highlight. At least makeup artists did on celebrities. I was so interested to learn even Marilyn Monroe's makeup artist used to highlight her cheek bones with Vaseline! In the 90s maybe they used shimmer eyeshadows or something. You look so perfect BTW. Sweet Pam's such an icon I love her. I used to watch this show where she was a bodyguard for some reason lol. She was good at it but kinda a "dumb blonde". You can find it streaming it's called VIP and it's amazing.

So envious of people who suit skinny brows. Such a look.
