TITHING Sometimes, the church leaders are never the problem, the people; I mean the church members are the problem. Back in 2010 when I started Pastoring, the Lord told me that paying Tithe is not a law He gave but the system of taking care of the less privilege ones among the children of Israel as well as the serving Priests in the temple which Moses developed not He God. I went on a Three years studies on the issues of Tithing and I discovered that even the Malachi Three that the Pastors are quoting all the time and using it to scare the people are not written to the people but to the Priests themselves who are receiving Tithes from the people but are not paying Tithes themselves from what they had received from the people. So when the poor comes to the house of the Lord for food, financial or material help, they are quick to say that the church cannot help because they'd consumed what they'd received on their lust. Anyway, the moment I started teaching it, both in the church and on Social Media, people started attacking me and calling me all kinds of names. I remembered asking one Pastor to show me where Jesus Christ received Tithe or encouraged the people to do the same, I'm still waiting for his response regarding that. When I said that giving Ten Percent of your income is not Tithing, but a covenant between God and Jacob. A covenant Jacob made to God and never fulfilled the same. Another Pastor came up to challenge that. And I asked him a simple question; show me where it is written that people should give Ten Percent of their income as Tithe. Well, I'm still waiting for his response. There are so many manipulations and lies in the church all in the name of preaching the gospel; and the funniest thing is, many of these individuals teaching are not even grounded in the word. They don't sit down to study. Their lives is garbage in, garbage out. They listen to the lies and falsehood from whoever they consider as their Pastor, Father or Mother in the Lord, or Mentor; then listen to the teachings or preachings of few other individuals that they could see that is doing well in ministry and then went about and be spitting the same ungrounded lies and their listeners will take the same and believe it to be truth. No, it's not; you'd been lied to. From 2013 down to 2016 I kept teaching this truth but no one was listening. I remembered a News Paper outside that came around to interview me on this and I was hoping to read the same on the pages of their News Paper only for them to publish about my exploits in ministry and what I was doing for the Lord, as if I was the one doing it? I remembered asking one Pastor that assuming I'm your Pastor, and I'm one of the big Pastors in town with large congregations all over the world, private jets and luxurious cars and I'm teaching this, will you still question my teachings on this? Again, I'm yet to have his response to that. Well, I think God sees that my question to the Pastor is from a sincere and honest heart. Because I did not have a large congregation, but I have a large heart and it was not long thereafter that I started teaching this, that Daddy Freeze started talking about the same, then Benny Hinn started teaching the same and even went on to apologize to his members and follower. As if that was not enough, Creflo A. Dollar went all out to teach about the same and then my Pastor, Sam Adeyemi did the same and I was like wow, the truth is spreading. God can use anyone to spark up His moves or bring necessary correction to His body. And you don't have to be a Pastor or Pastor a huge congregation before God can use you. The most important thing is your availability, total dedication to God and a heart for God and humanity. When I taught this, people attacked me, both Pastors and church goers. When Daddy Freeze did, some people were with him while some were against him. When Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar did, all hell went lose. I remembered one Pastor saying that how come Tithing is not applicable when he was paying thousands of Dollars as Tithe to Creflo Dollar? And he went ahead to challenge him. Well, as I usually said; majority of our Pastors today are like the Pharisees and the Sadducees in the days of Jesus Christ whom Jesus re-premanded in Luke 11:52 saying “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.” If you are waiting on your religious leaders to hear the truth or have the truth of God, you might wait for eternity and not have it. THIEVING PASTORS: WHY NO CHRISTIAN SHOULD PAY TITHES All of those pastors who insist that their flock must pay tithes are THIEVES. The first time that tithes were mentioned in the Bible was when Abraham returned from the slaughter of the kings and he paid a tenth of the spoils to King Melchizedek, in Genesis 14:17-23. Note that this was a onetime payment. The second time tithing was mentioned, was when Jacob had an encounter with his God at Bethel and he gave God a tenth of his wealth, Genesis 28:20-22. Note to that this was a onetime payment also. Tithing, as an institution was established to support the Levites because that tribe had no land inheritance like the other tribes. Tithes was especially needed to support the priests to carry out their functions After the birth of the Church at Pentecost, no apostle, no prophet, no bishop, no pastor, no evangelist or anyone EVER preached tithing to Christians. Christians can offer any amount they choose! In fact, the early Church members sold their properties and established communal ownership of wealth, Acts 4:32-37. Offerings were collected at the Church at Corinth to assist the poor at the Jerusalem Church, 1 Corinthians 16:1-4. Apostles did not ask Christians to pay tithe because they felt that the Levitical priesthood was abolished, and Christ was their priest after the order of Melchizedek. So when pastors quote Malachi 3:10, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." they are exhibiting greed and ignorance of the scriptures. Please note that the Apostle Paul evangelized more than all the other apostles but he earned a living as a tent-maker. Don't let these greedy thieving pastors enrich themselves and their families whilst you get unfulfilled promises of wealth. Don't listen to those brainwashed idiots and DO NOT let them prevent you from speaking out against the so-called men of God. When the whole of Christendom, from the Pope down, was supporting slavery they were brave secular men who were not afraid to speak out against those so-called men of God. The same Apostle Paul stated that when the Apostle Peter, the man whom Jesus stated that he would build his church on, was guilty of hypocrisy, he, Paul PUBLICLY confronted him.

There's nothing new under the sun From this information I have realised that even our forefathers paid tithes. This is because the part of the world where I live, the Tindaana is responsible for performing sacrifices at the shrines after every yearly harvest. Every household is expected to bring a part of the new harvest in the form of flour and pito and also a fowl. After the sacrifice what is roasted will be eaten and the rest the Tindaana( earth priest) takes it home.
