And yet..., God sent His very Son and Mary and Joseph back to Egypt for protection from Herod; not to be confused with Harod (fountain of trembling) in Palestine. (I know, different subject). Don't be like a dog returning back to your vomit is the point 2Peter 2:22. Very good sermon. Thankyou John and glory be to God. Hope you don't mind me calling you John. After all, don't you call Jehovah God? After God delivered me from alcohol, tobacco, drugs 4 1/2 years ago l still struggle to get free from the people I use to know and with the physical and mental problems that are a result of my own sins. All glory belongs to God. Amen.

Totally agree that we should burn our bridges of worldly living so that we cannot easily go back. I would however add by reason of balance that a bridge can however be rebuilt although with difficulty of time as opposed to a bridge that was never burned.
