I feel like Leo is still a really really popular and liked character, but the small amount of the fandom that don’t like him just feel really strongly about it

I think percabeth are made for each other. Consider this, Percy is a sensitive person with a history of getting bully and child abused. He is really sensitive of emotions and oblivious of the love relationship because of it. He is also very loyal to his friend. He act dumb to avoid conflict to protect himself but in urgent situation, he step up and take the role calmly. In the order hand, Annabeth is a logical person with a history of getting abundant and living in the street at young age. She is oblivious of emotions, both her own or the others. She avoid any relationship to prevent betrayal that Luke and her family gave her in young age. She use her intelligence to protect herself. She leads normally but sometimes, her emotion would overflow her. I think Rick create these parallels so that they could become soulmate on purpose.

Honestly, I feel that Piper and Jason are such underrated and misunderstood characters, Like, people are always like "Piper is so useless! She's such a Mary Sue!", but I disagree. Piper literally killed Medea! She broke Jason, Leo, and Percy out of a trance. She literally charmspoke Gaea back to sleep! And yet everyone's calling her useless? As for her being a Mary Sue, I can kinda see how they think that, but I still disagree. Piper had a rough past since her dad was always at work. She barely had any friends. She lost her boyfriend (I know at the time they broke up but she still really cared about him). In my opinion, Piper is one of the most powerful characters out of the Seven. As for Jason, I really don't understand the hate he gets. He's actually really powerful, I mean, he defeated a Titan with his own hands! The only reason people like Percy more than Jason is because we actually got to read about Percy's adventures. If we had gotten to read more of Jason's adventures, than I'm sure we'd like Jason a little bit more too. Piper and Jason are actually amazing characters but we saw less of them than some other characters, I think that's why people hate them so much.

Fun fact: In the sea of monsters Annabeth mentions that Tyson is most likely a baby and also Ella is thousands of years old because she was alive when the sibylline books were written as she memorised them!

To address one of these: the vow that the hunters take is willful and therefore not inherently tied to asexuality. As an aroace myself, this is an assumption many ppl make and it's annoying. Leo is probably one of my favorites of the main demigods throughout every series. I think for me, in order it goes: Percy, Nico, and Leo. He has one of the most powerful backstories in my opinion. As a tiny child, he was forced to just sit there and scream and cry while his mom died just in the other room while he couldnt get to her, from something that he created and couldn't control. With that, I honestly reject the whole Calypso thing even happening. It sort of cut his story short and didn't really make sense for his character. He is not confident in himself throughout the entire HoO series and has to go through this whole journey to realize that he actually is worthy of life and praise. Why did he have to immediately get into a relationship when he hadn't even discovered who he truly was?

- Percy and Annabeth have more in common than just basic personality traits. They share a lot of experience and interests like camp, training, being outside etc.. They complement each other. Even with their different ways of problem solving they still trust each other which is really important regarding their trauma and Annabeths controlling personality. - I agree that Hermione can be annoying sometimes, but that's what makes her even more likeable in my opinion. JKR wasn't afraid to display her flawes while I can't think of one scene in which Annabeth showed an actual character flaw. - Luke and Kronos were good, but they aren't as good as Voldemort and co.

Okay so I have a few things to say. So. I think hero’s of Olympus could have been an amazing series if they hadn’t gone too big with the villain and changed a few things about the characters.. I think the plot of having seven teens fight the earth it’s self and win is a bit crazy.. the battle of Manhattan was a lot more realistic in the fact that it was hard enough to need an army.. and many of the campers died, although they weren’t all named.. but somehow in hero’s of Olympus they all survived when they fought the *earth* it just seems to be a bit to good to be true 🤓 so yeah lol. I also think that changing the godly parents of some of the seven would have been great (ur videos on fixing hero’s of Olympus opened my eyes to this lol) like one of the major things in the last Olympian was that they built cabins for all or most of the minor gods.. yet in hero’s of Olympus they are all children of the major ones.. :/ I think Piper being a child of Hypnos would have made a lot more sense for her role in the story.. I think Leo would stay as he is, Hazel.. well idk xD but I don’t think she would have been a child of Pluto.. and Frank.. oh Frank.. he is so not a child of Mars, like come on. Again, I don’t know really who he would have been the child of but definitely not Mars.. I also think, as much as I love the seven, some of them should have died.. it would have made it seem more real and made the characters so much more meaningful.. like when Jason died I started to care about him and like his character more after :// one last thing, as I should be asleep run lol, I don’t think they should have all been claimed when they set out.. Comparing HP and PJ isn't a good idea because even if the argument is totally logical and base on pages in the book, will be bias for which Fandom do you have a more strong feelings!!! I will try to compare both series (trying not to be bias towards PJO)(Also is a comparison of only PJ and the Olympians no HoO or ToA since would be fair): 1° Main character: - Harry Potter and Percy Jackson they are relatively pretty similar, they are Brave,loyal friends and caring, but if we power scaling PJ wins since he's the son of Poseidon (and have power over water, hurricane and earthquake, all things attribute to the God, talk to fish and horses probably there's more); and HP world don't seems to have that, everyone has the same power at first and the only thing that changes is knowledge. - Ronnie Weasley and Grover Underwood, they're also pretty similar as being the Best friend characters, but if we talk about Usefulness I think Grover is a better character (I will explain better in a "interaction" point). - Hermione and Annabeth Chase (first of I gonna be totally bias here because I Hate Hermione)They are kinda similar as being the brains, I said Kinda because Annabeth is smart but there are things she can't do, while Hermione is perfect (she would be a mary sue if was the Main character). Their Interactions and how that influences the story, PJO has a better interaction between main characters than HP, because Harry is the Main character (check) Ronnie is his best friend who is a Pure blood and only lived in the wizard world but is Hermione who has all answers and that makes him the role of funny character (HP would be such a better story if Ronnie would give information about the wizard world and Hermione about spells but...). Well PJO you can feel the forming and strengthening friendship through out the books. - Dumbledore and Chiron, originally I would say they are similar in their roles as tutor until I remember Dumbledore is the principal and everything he does towards Harry is nothing more than being bias to him and Gryffindor, while Chiron is a proper Tutor and don't choose favorites between Campers - Voldemort And Kronos are really similar (coincidentally) both objective is relatively the same Domination, Also similar is both have a "connection" with Main protagonist, No-nose-guy is because his soul is partially in Harry body and Dust-breath is Percy's Grandfather. 2° Side Characters and the world (I just notice will take to long for which characters be compared so I gonna try to hush a little): - Drako and Clarisse La Rue they would be the rival/Bullie type, but I don't feel they are similar, Clarisse has a more "civilized" relationship with Percy and Both are friends (even if they won't admit it) while Drako is purely hate against Harry (and vice versa), Maybe at the end of the last book he started to be friendly but we never saw them in such terms.... Since I'm on it HP Slytherin House doesn't make sense through out the book J.k. paint them as the "Evil house", 95% of Voldemort tropes are from there (5%are not from Hogwarts or not wizards). In case someone says "PJ has Ares Cabin" they are not evil only Agressive (Para c*ralho). - Snape is a good "evil" teacher and there is no character that is good to compare to, could be Luke? Yes but no, Because how they started in the books are different Snape from book 1 to 6 He's extremely cruel and bad to Harry (a child), Luke started as a friend to betray Percy in the 1st book only to be forgiven in the last minute. Two unpopular Opinion: - Even if he redeemed himself at the end there's no logic for Harry to give his son Snape name - Just because he stopped Kronos, Luke still had made some pretty questionable things , and because of Him Silena and Charlie are dead.. Well, the Camp and the school are pretty much the same in a way, Like we Never saw inside Many of them like we never pay much attention to the Yellow house and Ravenclaw (I don't remember how to write the yellow house name)...

I personally love Leo but I think that Calypso changed him so much that it broke my heart. I really miss how he was in the lost hero and mark of Athena before they met and I hope that he gets away from her and works on himself for a while, I think that’s more beneficial

Nope, Percabeth is still the best, because they are one of the couples that has had the most time to develop and grow together, and it all feels so genuine and beautiful. They are still one of my favorites. Tyson and Ella are cute together. HoO is a great series. It has a different vibe, and it's really long, yes, but I can't hate it, especially after rereading it helped me pass the time in the first few months of lockdown back in 2020. I didn't connect with Jason as much as with the rest of the 7, but he was still a good person and he didn't deserve to die. I cried. Jason meant a lot to the other characters. He made Frank and Hazel feel welcome at Camp Jupiter, he was the first person Nico came out to and was very supportive of him, which made such a big difference in his life, and he was a good partner and friend to Piper no matter how difficult things got. He fought against manipulation so he wouldn't end up killing his bro Percy, and of course he and Leo are the wholesome bestie duo. He did so much more still, but most of all, though, he died to protect his friends because he cared about their lives and the important cause they all shared. Sure, I didn't connect with him as much, but the 7 isn't the same without him. I miss Jason. Besides, Thalia didn't deserve to lose her brother. Again. Forever. The Grace siblings deserved better. Not that sad? I am offended. I cry so many tears at all the same places every single time I read those books. If "Bob says hello" doesn't have you sobbing, then I don't know what to tell you. No good ships? I call bullshit. There are plenty of good ships and some that are new but have potential. Obviously, this one is canon, but one of my favorite couples is Sally Jackson and Paul Blofis. They are the kindest people ever and amazing parents as well. Percy and Annabeth had more time to develop. Besides, my parents, who have been happily married for 35 years and counting, told me that to love someone, you have to like them first, as a person, and be friends, which makes sense because my parents were best friends before they married, and still consider themselves best friends, except they're also in love. I believe the same applies to Percy and Annabeth. Percy and Harry are equally sassy kings and need to produce their own comedy special. More heroes did in The Last Olympian than we usually think about, we just don't know all their names. They are just as noble and important though. I don't understand why people don't like Leo. He's not perfect, I know, but that's because nobody is perfect, so we can't realistically expect him to be. I love Leo because I identify with him in terms of often feeling like an outsider but covering it up with happy energy. Also, Leo is an angel. He refuses to kill Festus and fixes him many times, he designs the Argo II, without which the quest wouldn't have happened, he loved his mom (may she rest in peace), he takes care everyone and sacrifices his life for them, he keeps his promise to Calypso, and is kind to Echo the nymph, briefly giving her a sense of purpose and hope again and dubbing her a member of Team Leo, and you can't more touching than that. On top of that, he makes me laugh. I love Leo, and so does my mom, who is also a fan of these books. Love you, Mom! Nope, he's still a king of comedy. I know it's simple, but it's also effective, when Meg throws the toga at Apollo and says "Put on your sheet." It always makes me laugh, because Meg is a well-written character with great delivery.

I don't know if it is an unpopular opinion that Harry potter's last layer to open when like he gets to know that he is himself an horcrox and then realizing voldermote's mistake to take him down was a better thought of construction for the last scene to end the battle with ( like the plot or the core where it all begins and ends) than pjo as idk why but I felt that luke understood annabeth's things that she was saying to defeat Kronos so fast like in the entire series these things have been told to that guy and then he suddenly realises and saved the world. I love that scene but I think for such a progression and realization. .. more time should have been given to that part and more construction of steps to do so would have been there. About the HP Vs PJ comparison, in main character case, I think PJ(PJ, G,AC) is better than HP (HP, RW, HG)characters, especially when it comes to shipping. However, I think in side character case, HP does a much much better job than PJ, like Chiron VS Dumbledore, Luke VS Snape, Clarisse VS Draco....

Unpopular opinions: -Piper isn;t lesbian but she is Bi. She did love Jason and was figuring out herself. She was like 16 and it was her first relationship. I feel the LGBT/people try way too hard to push her to be just lesbian. If you read the book, she and Jason went though a lot. Their feeling and journey was very obvious of lover not friend. It great she feel in love, out of love, and figuring herself out cuz she was like 16. People act like she 30 year old and her whole breakup is force ...like she 16??? Of course her first love was;t gonna last and was super messy. -Hazel and frank should be remove from the 7. There just too many characters . I also think Percy and Annabeth should have less of a role. More screen time/better arc for Jason, Leo, and Piper. Hazel and Frank are hardly in the story beside 2nd book. I would remove Reyna and just given Jason and Nico more screen time. Again too many character, gotta cut some. -I love Leo and calypso and would give them more screen time. -Trail of Apollo is one of the best series. (Best to worst) Percy Jackson Apollo HOO But it is so much darker, lack romance, and I feel it was for an older audience hence it didn;t do as well. I read it as an adults and I love it so much. I am so excited for Will and Nico book cuz finally we get an apollo character. I always love healer and more defensive character. It was hint a few time but Will seem to be one of the stronger/more gifted Apollo kid. Everyone want more will and Nico but I just want an Apollo kid story. Apollo was so interesting and can't wait to see what he does for his own son.

I mean, I actually do think that Percabeth isn't the best ship. They aren't terrible, but that's the most I can say. Annabeth mostly sees him as a safety net after years of trauma and losing people, which is nice and all that but is a bad foundation for a relatonship. On the other hand, Percy obviously loves her but has bad times understanding her obsessions (even openly admitted that he zones out when she talks about architecture) and can be very... oblivious to her emotions and needs (especially regarding her family situation). They are legit together because they are *used to* being together. I do think they are great friends but both would most likely be happier in romantic relationship with someone else, Annabeth especially.

My Unpopular Opinions Harry Potter is better Percy Jackson sorry but I love them both.
