Tessie that should be changed so they have to show up and state why they refused the job offer. The case worker should make a decision if the reason is valid or not. Also, the case worker should send an email to the employer to check on the validity of the claim. ALSO, there should be some kind of chart, gow far a way the job site is, what tyoe of work it is vompared to the education of the applicant, and some other factors. if they hit 4 out of 6 for example, they have to try doing the job. If they quit, 3 strikes and you are out for a year. ...is what I think.

Yes they required to work but lot of do just enough to get by to get their assistance. Someone could offer them 40 hours a week making $12 an hour and they turn it down to work at McDonalds or something working 15 hours a week for $8 an hour so they can keep their government assistance.
