"Event Horizon" linocut.
Process of carving and printing the "Event Horizon" linocut by Oleg Lipchenko, May 2023. I've printed a couple of the first prints of a limited edition of my large (24”X30”) lino with ball-bearing baren and spoon. It took about an hour and half to get a crisp print with rich blacks. Slowly, I agree, but a completely controlled process and does not require an etching press or any other heavy and expensive equipment.
