Some time could you guys do a video on what u feed your horses I have a 12 year old quarter horse with a little TB in her mare great mover and jumper she is only on all day grass and hay is very low maintenance. Lately she has been not as energetic and is up and down in her weight. She is still coming back from and injury about a year ago and recently is recovering from her hocks being sore but the vet says she is doing great. I just need something that will boost her energy and maybe help with her hocks. I don't have a preference on manufactured pellets or hand mixed oats, flax, ect. Any suggestions would be nice she is just not her self thanks for reading and your help.

For the first exercise, does your horse have to be able to comfortably flying change beforehand or at least change leads easily, or can it be an inexperienced horse? Just because you said it's good for youngsters :) awesome video xx

Hopefully I'll be getting some wood to make some cavaletti and jumps. I know how to use them for schooling and I know what to look for now when I'm training my horse but the only problem is that I don't exactly have the flashiest riding area. People judge mine and my horses ability based on where I ride. But hopefully with a bit of schooling and off property training, we will be able to kick butt in the upcoming shows. 😄

I have a 14 hh pony and I do jumps at home and I'm not sure how to measure the distance in-between the jumps. People on the internet say so many different things I'm not sure.please help me.

I have a pony of roughly the same height. Her strides range between 2 and 3 meters. I found that the best way to measure was to set up ground poles about 3 meters apart and canter through them and adjust them after trial and error to fit her strides. Once you figure out the average length of your horses strides, you can pace out the strides on foot to set up jumps and grids. Hope that helps. :)

Flip it one or two so it is only slightly raised or on the ground and make trot poles or canter poles! They're very good for getting a steady rhythm and making your horse place his feet correctly.
