In December, a Danish television network published a poll where Mary was named the most valuable member of the royal family in her country, second only to Queen Margrethe and then-Prince Frederik. I'm from America and have followed Mary and Frederick for years. Mary is wonderful... much like Catherine, Princess of Whales. I can't say if I believe that Frederik is cheating on Mary...but if he is he needs to pull his head out and realize what he has...and the enormady what he could loose!

I so hope that the King can graciously and proudly accept that his Queen is so popular and hugely loved by the people, as a bonus in his life. That his ego doesn't rear its head and ruin his reign. A King who has a loving and devoted Queen by his side who is equally loved by his subjects must be a plus by making his life so much easier. A Queen who can oversee the preparations for his State Dinners and attend public engagements, representing the King has to be a given plus for him. I just pray he doesn't do anything stupid to change their current dynamics. That they rule side by side, to the end of their days or the King decides he will abdicate just as his Mother has done.

The X in Frederik X is NOT pronounced as the letter X, it is the Roman numeral 10 thus Frederik X is pronounced Frederik the 10th.
