King Harald, Queen Sonja, King Frederik X, Queen Mary, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit during the arrival and welcome ceremony of the Danish King and Queen at Honnorbryggen, Oslo, the wreath laying ceremony at the National Monument in Oslo, a visit to MiNaLab at Oslo Science City in Oslo, and on departure for the gala dinner at the Royal Palace from The Royal Yacht Dannebrog during the state visit by the Danish Royals to Norway.

Lovely to see the seafaring traditions continue. Royal ladies and King Harald looking splendid. King Fred has much ground to catch and patch up. My family originated from both these beautiful countries.

I believe the first pair that greeted Frederick and Mary were the Norwegian Crown Prince and Princess, which explains the need to curtsy.

Altmodisch. Ich meine braucht man Königshäuser heute noch. In Dänemark und Norwegen gibt es die nur noch weil die Familien dort so beliebt sind sonst gäbe es die da auch schon nicht mehr obwohl viele leute in den Ländern meinen das die Königshäuser zu Altmodisch und vor allem zu teuer sind und deshalb ist es vielen egal wie Sie regiert werden ob von einem König oder einem Präsidenten. Viele würden sich A einen jüngeren König in Norwegen wünschen und die anderen würden sich B eine Republik wünschen mit einem Präsidenten. Ich finde das müssen die Länder selbst entscheiden ob Sie noch einen König brauchen oder nicht. Ich persönlich meine man braucht keine mehr. Königshäuser sind Altmodisch langweilig und zu teuer. 😊
