I guess it is kind of a tech demo. quite an impressive one, but I agree. not something I would use at the current state.

I am the same. Mostly do stuff in terminal on linux. As for terminals for AmigaOS I havent really found any good terminals. There are those oldfassion terminals made for bbs/telnet use but nothing for various cli-usage that I know of. However there are better shells out there. KINCON is one of the old once I used back in the day which I never really changed from. But even the shell in AmigaOS 3.2 is a LOT better than the old one in 3.1 and such (has tab completion etc). However you still lack a proper terminal.

I would go with the rpi5. amiberry should be ready for use on that now and if pimiga is something you enjoy a version for the pi5 is just around the corner. So not the moment in time I would go for the pi4. I think I would rather go for those N100 based miniPCs than a pi4 if you are not able to get a pi5 (the smallest N100-machines should fit in the case (at least if it is about the same size as the A1200-case you are making). My latest video is about that if you want to see how small they are). One thing I don't know as I haven´t tested is how well fs-uae run on ARM. I have only tested it on intel. I only use amiberry on my arm computers. Sounds like a cool machine you are making for youself :)

@@protequeHey my dude, my friend offered me his original Mister IO board. Do you think I should go ahead and go with a Mister build with a wedge case or go the mini PC route? Asking since I know you said that the Mister can emulate Workbench 1.3 and 3.1 and other classic computers. I am just wondering if I would be missing out on other software for Workbench 1.3 and 3.1 like demos etc. The ability to boot multiple classic computers seems cool too

Actually I think you are right! does Real3d open on the WB-screen? I have only used Cinema4d myself. and that may benefit from it as well.
