@ $163.55 for 29 blocks, it would take us $2,537.84 to build just the divider they've done here. If we had $2500 to spend on legos, I doubt anyone would need the dividers as the housing would be a little better than pictured. Logic 101, but again, I understand the business side of it. so no hate =)

Sargento Bonzo yeah if you have $25,000 USD to drop on it. The basic setup on ONE dividing wall uses over 200 white blocks. You can get 18 white blocks for $125 USD, so 200 of those blocks is going to cost you $25,000 USD. If each block cost $1.00 USD, I have a feeling they'd be selling millions of these across the globe but not when a single block costs costs a maximum of just under $7.00 USD.

twenty years ago i thought this would be a way to solve the worlds housing problem. Why are we not making these with insulation inside, and providing them to poor rural villages to build a small house? or even in this country? seriously, they float,lol so after a flood, we could collect our house, lol. if we can make them come apart for travel, that be better. so, why cant we make these half the size and make furniture? lol. legos have huge potential. its just why they cant be made from recycled products to make them more affordable I have no clue, legos as a toy are terribly expensive and out of reach for poor kids. Whos up for a lego housing plan?

If you build it up to the ceiling, will it make the space sound proofed or at least minimized?
@Everblocksystemsblocks
@Everblocksystemsblocks 4 жыл бұрын
When building walls we always recommend leaving at least 1ft of space between the top of the wall and the ceiling, this is for fire safety purposes. However, you can build your wall however you'd like. Either way will offer sound dampening qualities and will muffle low level noise.
@Gilisasmith
@Gilisasmith 6 жыл бұрын
I noticed the the door doesn't come all the way down to the ground nor do the blocks go all the way to the ceiling why is that?
@Everblocksystemsblocks
@Everblocksystemsblocks 6 жыл бұрын
When building a wall in a home or apartment we recommend leaving about 6 inches of space between the top of the wall and the ceiling. This is for fire safety, and just a recommendation. The door in the video is one of our old doors, the new doors are longer and read the floor.

These are really nice but the price is too high. Our non profit tallied the cost and it's cheaper to build a temporary wall. I do love these blocks and can't wait until their prices make sense.
@Everblocksystemsblocks
@Everblocksystemsblocks 6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment Erica! We actually did some deep research and an EverBlock temporary wall is actually CHEAPER than building a traditional wall, with the added benefit of the system being modular. Which means one day you have wall, the next a desk with chair, table with stools, bookshelf, display case, bed frame and so much more all with the SAME blocks. You can not do all of those things with a traditional wall, nor could you take the wall with you if you ever moved! We also offer educational discounts and bulk discounts. EverBlock does not require tools, glue, sheetrock, dry wall, paint, molding or labor. Check out our analysis here: www.everblocksystems.com/blog/2017/4/4/everblock-wall-vs-traditional-drywall-wall-which-is-cheaper

They are hella expensive and not practical as you lose 72 square inches of floor space for every full size brick along the wall base. This is an example of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Only the rich could afford to buy these in any appreciable amount to do anything with. Right @JVY LVCK....exactly. Expensive!!!

EverBlock, hear me out. I love it, I’d build everything In my life with it if I could. But I can’t, I don’t know anyone who justifiably could. Get yourself a amazing marketing plan and then drop the price. Market it to nostalgic people in the 18-30 range. I can see this in dorms, in studio apartments. In struggling families. Baby, please your beautiful but not more then $1000 for a 7’x7’ foot wall beautiful.
