I use Eversolo analog 2 channel pure direct through my Denon. The sound was quite forward and stage a little constricted but very clean and accurate. Almost what I wanted but not quite. I installed LPS-A6 and everything changed. It’s now exactly what I want. It’s a solid upgrade. I recommend it.

I have had mine for a good while now and really like it. I bypass the internal DAC and use a Gustard R26. I wish Eversolo would make a streamer with no internal DAC and an I2S output.

This is all about the Eversolo DMP A6. But are there any significant differences between A6 and A6 Master Edition version as it comes to sounding or maybe convenience? For I've heard of there's some upgrading and enhancements in terms of circuitry. Would like to know your opinion, thanks.

@upscaled_reviews . Is it possible to show how you connected the eversolo to make use of the dac? I have it connected to my pioneer receiver through HDMI as a streamer but I don't get enough sound. I will really appreciate it you can assist with that . Thanks in advance

If your pioneer has analog inputs (rca), you can take advantage of the ever solos dacs.

I have Zidoo Z1000pro and bought the dmp-a6 in January. I love them both, but was looking into selling them both and picking up a Zidoo Neo X. The Neo X plays hi res audio and play video files. Any chance you can get Zidoo send you a Neo X to review? Love your channel!

Please do a follow-up on multichannel DSD, FLAC and PCM via HDMI output. Simply nothing sounds better. Note: you might need to "download" some media. But once you hear DSD multichannel you will never go back to Apple Spatial on a Apple 4K TV.

I’ll have to look into this and figure out where to get the media. I’m starting to rip my entire CD collection to FLAC very slowly. It will be a years long project. I’ve played FLAC and it sounded great.

lol, took u long enough. I love my DMP-A6. As good as it sounds, a delta sigma chip still sounds 2D. I use an external R2R dac Denafrips Pontus II 12th-1. And then I hear another improvement with the DDC by Denafrips Iris 12th. source=Apple Music lossless. By the way, turn on the A6's shortcut bar and put the Apple Music icon on there. To take it another step, I upgraded to the Cardas Clear USB cable and Cardas Parsec RCA cables and I hear an improvement.

Trying to find a list of apps that are supported on the A6, especially if there is a DAB+ app. Any idea where this can be found?

There is no DAB+ tuner in the Eversolo. However it does have an internet radio app. The firmware is based on Android so you can install many apps by downloading apk files and importing them onto the Eversolo.

Eversolo looks good for sure. But if you got decent DAC, $149 Wiim pro with external LPS sounds as good or better than Eversolo.

I almost bought a wiim and I’m aware it has really good dacs but I decided that I wanted something with a screen to display album art. I really think the screen is the reason you spring for the ever solo.

There's also the one box factor. I want as few boxes as possible. The Eversolo is all you need if you have powered/active speakers like the Acoustic Energy AE1 Active, as it's a DAC/Streamer/Preamp all in one box. BUT - there's where the forthcoming Wiim Ultra comes in too.

I have to disagree.... It's wonky. Yes it has allot of APPS but they don't connect that easy. It's feature packed but the DACs are old already. ESS is up to 9080
