Forest, more overspend, less points deduction. Man Shitty, 115 charges and counting, a possible but unlikely slap on the wrist in 50 years. This is shithousery on a massive scale.

I'm not an everton fan, but this FFP situation is getting ridiculous. The way the EPL has not reviewed the $105m allowable lost figure for 10+ years yet is now arbitrarily deducting points from clubs breaching them is so amateurish LMAO. Just do your job properly and adjust the $105m by inflation. And the points deduction at random times during the season is affecting the integrity of the competition as Everton simply gains extra incentive to perform each time they get a deduction. WTF is the EPL doing??? All EPL fans should come together to protest and threaten a boycott on the Premier League brand.

How can stadium funds be included in the accounting? If it is, then no club can ever build a new stadium or undertake any significant improvements to their existing stadium. What about Spurs? They built a new stadium, didn't they? Done when FFP was in place? And Arsenal? Man City? And West Ham? Does taking over a city's stadium built for the Olympics count? It's crazy. This is ludicrous.

@@Kyleterp1 I don't see the unfairness. The only team that gets punished is the team that cheated. Meanwhile, your way around, the only team that gets punished is the team that got relegated instead of them. Everton are actually a prime case in point. Had they been punished in a timely fashion, they would be in the Championship right now. They should have been punished not just last season, but _two_ seasons ago. As it turns out, they weren't punished in a timely fashion, and currently they look likely to stay up. Who has been punished for cheating in this real life example? Everton? Not remotely. In fact, they've been rewarded for cheating by a huge sum of money, which they received for staying in the Premier League.

How the hell are Man Utd not subjected to FFP. The Glazers bought Man Utd through a loan of 500 or 600 million and then spent about 700 or 800 million on players over the following 7 or 8 years. If every club is working from a balance sheet and only revenue created should Man Utd not have to pay off their debt before they can spend on players. The injustice and inequality in treatment between these clubs is outrageous.

The big clubs have to meet the more restrictive UEFA regs, with the 70% squad cost control ratio (good luck Everton with your 95% spend just on wages!), and smaller losses allowed. And let's get something straight. Virtually every club voted in favour of adopting the regs. Why? Because even wealthy benefactor owners don't want to be having to pump in huge sums of money every year to cover losses, and don't want the unsustainable inflationary effect that that has on wages and transfer fees. The regs might not be perfect, and they'll be refined over time, but the clubs wanted them, and the game needed them.

They didn't take the Russian Invasion into consideration. Everton's losses over the two periods investigated is less than the one period Forrest have been investigated for. And somehow Everton have double the punishment of Forrest. In this latest case the judge has completely ignored the findings of the appeal committee that gave Everton four points back. This judge has used the un-safe findings of the first Independent panel as his benchmark. premier league is behaving like sunday league. With every action they look like a bunch of amateurs. The reason Everton may have a further deduction hanging over them is due to the rush job on this verdict to try to spare the Pl having the embarrassment of this verdict receiving an appeal verdict after the season ends.

The 3 year measurement just seems like it is rife for double jeopardy. £45m 2022. £89m 2023. So all of a sudden they have to have £20+m profit this year or they get deductions again. Then 2025 they are measuring £89m again then this season and next seasons. If you lose £105m in one year. You might as well not play at all for the next 3 years, until it's a fresh count. Or you can just have your owners artificially inflate sponsor deals and get away with it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Looked at their accounts, they averaged just over 39,000 a game. Over 19 games their gate receipts were just £17.26m. That is an average of £23.30 a person. Now go look at the ticket prices. Something does not add up.

Why is no one asking the question about Chelsea, sold because the government wanted to take assets away from Russian ownership. The price set at £3 billion and apparently the new owners paid £4 billion. All approved by government and football authorities. That is not small change if it is correct.

Would they leave Everton alone. Everton had less impact on their spending than any other club. They could probably sue on the grounds they have been treated far differently than any other club that have spent lots of money over the last 25 years. Why should different rules apply at different times over those 25 years just to suit a narrative. Surely Chelsea in the early 2000's have had a completely unfair gain over the other 19 clubs in the Premiership as they were allowed to spend a lot more. Making rules up as they go along actually discriminates against the other clubs that have that same opportunity at a later stage.

This is an absolute disgrace in many ways - deducting points during the season is a no no in my books...and then doing it a second time is an absolute farce. I have not been a lover of the Premier League since its formation (non-league fan) and from day 1 it has always been about money. We should have followed the German model and only allowed foreign ownership up to 49%, which would have curbed some of the excesses.

Because they keep breaking the rules. They're making huge unsustainable losses. They spend almost all of their revenues just on player wages. It might not seem like it, but this is for their own good, god knows what a financial state they'd be in if it wasn't for these regulations.

Why could this not have been properly dealt with, and points deducted in one go. This looks so bad on the premier league.
