Try being Luton Town FC who had a 30 point deduction following on from a 10 point deduction in sucessive seasons that sent us into non league and almost out of business. It can't only be the small clubs that are seen as an easy target by the F.A. to make an example of.

Again a completely superficial look at Man City's charges. There are only 5 major charges in groups. They are said to have spent 2 billion during the majority of the time covered by the charges. The charges themselves relate to a very small amount of money relative to their spend. The main thrust of the charges is not declaring that money. This is not Chelsea who are alleged to have concealed many millions , thereby giving them a huge advantage over other clubs. The money involved in the City charges is a million here and a million there (to Mancini and Toure, for instance)., which would be 1/1000th of gross spend. A drop in the ocean.

Sorry , points deductions are not enough . If a team cheats they should have titles stripped . Ie lance armstrong and the list goes on for Olympians.
