Welcome back to Stick To Football with Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Ian Wright and Roy Keane - the original show from the award winning The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet.
With Jill Scott away on A League of Their Own duty, sports journalist David Ornstein joins the show to explain how Everton breached the Profit and Sustainability rules and why the independent commission came to the decision to dock them the most ever Premier League points.
The panel also chat about the wider implications of the financial fair play rules and what it could mean to the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea, who currently have charges impending against them.
Also hear about the latest on the Premier League vote, where clubs decided against a temporary ban on January transfer loan deals between associated clubs.
Super 6 returns where Gary and Roy go head-to-head; has Gary pulled further ahead of his former team-mate? And we round off the show with your Community Questions.
If you liked the episode don't forget to let us know in the comments and if you want to listen only you can catch Stick to Football on all major podcast platforms.

The biggest shock in football history isn’t The Miracle of Bern, the 1999 UCL Final, or Liverpool’s unforgettable night in Istanbul in 2005. The biggest shock ever would be if Man City was actually held accountable for its 115 (at least) breaches since 2008.

I think the biggest shock in football is how fans are now all about financial debate instead of the bleeding football 🙄. The recently introduced FFP is utter nonsense imo. If it's sooo important, where was ffp 20,30 + years ago? Every club should be able to risk whatever they want to spend and try to put the best product they can buy out on the field to compete. Some will win and some will lose and life goes on. Everybody and their dog are now financial and legal experts... circus it is

They spent poorly and played poorly, deserving of relegation two seasons in a row, I think they are pretty fortunate with only a handful good results and they somewhat secure again. This is the great beauty of football that 2 fierce rivals have such a cool friendship proves that even with all the intense tribalism that we see intensified even more these days, the nasty behaviour of modern rival fans towards each other, in the end, after the games are over, we need to treasure the camaraderie and friendships that football brings

Roy Keane is spot on by saying "hasn't the greed always been there?", the Premier League was founded on greed and driven by the big 5 back then (Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton) but people loved seeing the Premier League grow. The reality is a system built upon greed will only become more and more consumed by greed.

@paddylast5839 How does that make it false? Just because La Liga is worse doesn't make this not greedy. Plus they agreed the deal at the start as they needed the clubs the breakaway but we've seen the desperation from those clubs to try and get more money and power (see project Big Picture and also them joining the Super League). It's pure greed, driven by those clubs and now the chickens have come home to roost.

Spot on that it’s always been this way greed has always been in the premier league it was born to generate more money and to make football more elite. Gary pissing and moaning like this is a new thing is laughable , Manchester United for years have dominated the premier league paying big wages attracting the best players now the crown has slipped he has an issue with it . The bias is laughable on this panel Manchester Liverpool and arsenal all massive clubs with success and all part of the breakaway super league plans.

“Newcastle have spent a lot of money on Tonali without doing enough due diligence into his private life, they deserve to be punished for that mistake and shouldn’t be allowed to sign someone like Ruben Neves on loan.” What did you want us to do get Sandro to login to his skybet account before we signed him? Ridiculous take Carra

The BEST SHOW Podcast on KZfaq It is Brilliant, love the discussions, love the Banter, actually your comments about "lack of leadership at the top" is so right. It applies to most businesses and the management teams who can spell FAIR let alone know what it MEANS! Keep it up lads - it makes my Melbourne Australia home feel closer to the best league in the world each week.

I think the lads missed a point here... Why is Everton forced to put stadium costs through the P&S claculations, the previous season they didnt but then the PL changed the rules in the Dec in mid season. You cant just change rules unless you are trying to `get someone`...

As an `expert` Ormstein missed out 95% of the details behind the charge, very generalised. Perhaps the audience would understand the frustration if the full facts were forthcoming.

Well done, guys. This is the most refreshing footy take on the web. As an Evertonian for 47 years, I was dreading this, TBH, but it is always good to see people on the outside's take on what is DOING OUR HEADS! 24/7. When I was a kid 'survival' wasn't even a word!
