All fans, including FSU fans 20 years from now, agree. 2009 Colt going down 5 plays in the game negates 2009's validity. Sorry. 2012. ND is still 0-14 in bowls against top 15 teams since 93. Nobody believes ND belonged. 2020. When has one team that played 42% more games than their opp played in the NC game besides 2020?

My biggest takeaway from the video was how good the 2007 Alabama team actually was. They had a chance to win every game they lost. In 17 years they only got dominated once, and it was the Clemson natty. The video also reminded me that during Saban's tenure at Alabama, they outscored Tennessee by a whopping 302 points.

@@snowstorm5867if it wasn’t for Les Miles not updating his offense and having a offense staff that can develop QBs like Brian Kelly can now, LSU has a couple more SEC titles, wins over Alabama, and a couple more national titles in this span. The talent was always elite for LSU bama had us beat in overall in game coaching for the majority of those years. Now we will beat bama for decades so I’m not worried. Nick Saban is the best coach of all time and I have a lot of love for him bc he rescued LSU from the gutter in 2000 and made us a powerhouse.

Think about this bama is not LSU, they will not just go hire another coach that recruits elite players and wins a bunch of games and a couple conference titles and a natty like LSU has done with 3 head coaches in a row and looking to do it with a 4th in Brian Kelly. Before Saban bama was putrid they had losing seasons and couldn’t recruit top 10 or top 5 with the other SEC powerhouses. It took bama having the best coach of all time to ever get on the winning block now it’s downhill for them and LSU will be beating them a whole lot.

Being a student on campus when News broke that Saban was retiring was one of the most surreal experiences ever. All 38k of us collectively stopped. It’s remarkable how he always kept Alabama as “the standard”

Muschamp was awful and the despised BCS almost let him in.

All the people still at Alabama right now wanted to play for Alabama. Not Nick Saban. They didn’t run to Texas or Ohio State for the extra pocket change for the junior and senior year.
