I honestly don't think anyone has made a video like this ever. The game itself does a terrible job explaining how all these buffs and debuffs work. And there's other videos like this that I think the community needs as well such as a simple step by step explanation of how all Doom Tower bosses work and especially Hydra. Lots of creators have done videos but it's basically just showing you what team works best they're not really helping you how to understand the fight mechanics.

This would help allot of new players .. when i started i've been looking for such a video .. thank u man .. respect

they should really have some kind of buff/debuff list you can pull up for reference. can you imagine if we could search champs by debuff like we do with the gear filter?

As a fairly new player, this is one of the best, if not the best, vid for starters like myself. Thank you, Ash and i am glad to see that you have recovered. Perhaps an idea for a future video could be explaining Masteries and how they work as well as their synergy wit skills.

This is a great video man, much needed for all players! I feel going over the masteries would be a great follow up to this and explaining how they affect other base stats, total stats, and artifacts. Thank you for what you do bro!!!

Yooo Ash! Man once again, LOVE the videos! I hope you read the comments. This will be the third time tryna help ya understand ally protection. Hope the other viewers read the comments like myself. When building an ally protection champ, avoid giving them crit damage. The damage the ally protect champ receives is based on THIER OWN crit damage. So for example, Miscreated monster, if he has 200% crit damage. He will recieve more damage from the ally protection than if he had 50% crit damage. It's weird but that's how the game codes the damage an ally protection champ recieves. So hopefully the third times the charm. Keep up the great work 👍 👏 💪

You forgot about a big difference between veil & perfect veil! Perfect veil stays on even after you do damage to your enemy. Veil is removed the moment you do damage to your opponent.

Hey Ash. Awesome Content. First CC was BGE & it led me to your stuff. When i started the game 2 years ago... There was no content of explaining any of this... So well done on this. Hopefully this helps all the new players coming to the game to understand whats needed for a balanced team. The only debuff i needed clarity on was petrification... And somehow the last bit pf fhe video did sync properly. So couldn't catch that really... Will go check maybe the Mithrala vidz. Keep up the postive vibes.

Great video Ash, the game is horrific for actually explaining what these skills do. Some are obvious as to their effect, but I did learn how some buffs/debuffs actually affected the target. Even if the video skipped at the end and cut off the pertrification debuff explanation. Fear and True Fear, Veil and Perfect Veil were always a mystery to me as to how the fully worked. Very much appreciated for this video, I've waited a long time for someone to cover these basics.

I think the most important thing about Frost relative to stun that nobody mentions is that, Frost activates when being attacked while Stun activates when attacking. Now knowing the difference, I just realised how good frost is on a provoke all champ.

Hey bud, Hope all is well with you and yours. Starting my climb in 3v3, and I've pulled up a lot of vids but none of them tell me what I'm looking for. Often when you do 3v3 you'll select an opponent and then you'll select your team makeup. You kinda explain why you're selecting certain champs but you don't really break it down in a definitive way. For example I've learned that when I see a potential stoneskin cardinal team then I should bring in a bomber. Could you do a focus video based on an " if you see this, you should look to bring in this" type of perspective. I think that would be a well received topic. And gives you some uncovered content. You do do a good job explaining in detail. My concern is the title. It states, EVERY Buff & Debuff in RAID Explained | 2022 Beginner's Guide. This is not really a beginners guide if you have all of your characters maxed out. I would very much like it if you could do a video concentrating on players that are new to the game, say from level one to say level 50. I think a lot of players struggle with understanding the mechanics of the game. Only a suggestion. Keep up the excellent content. Really appreciated.

the counter attack champions you listed are the only ones with full team counter attack, there are other champions with single target or self targeting counter attack buffs

On counter attacks they do seem to do all their hits if it’s a multiple hit a1. My vizier def does anyway when he has counter attack.

Really appreciate the text banners. Sometimes content creators talk too fast so I have to rewind 2 or 3 times to get the details. (Why do they do that?). Also really appreciate the topic. Most buffs are obvious, but some are a real mystery.

Hey ash. You had a small mistake with CA buff. The champ with the buff will ca with all it's a1 hit if it had multi attacks but only do it once even if hit multiple times by an enemy ( the writing posted during the vid also says that)

learnt the hard way today the difference between Aura and buff.... Have Warmaiden 2+ speed above Athel to drop DEF before Attack in Arena. Chose to switch Apo for Lyssandra... due to Lyssandra's Speed Aura Based of Base stats not Total... It made Athel Faster than Warmaiden Destroying the whole team causing Athel to attack before the debuff

One thing I feel there was missing is the part with Ally protect and how it works on CB.

You should have gone more in depth about stat boosts. As in does the increase attack buff the total atk rating including the artifacts or just the characters base stats?

Counterattack have also Jizoh. So not just 3 in entire game as you say. ☝️

One thing that is hilarious today about Scyl of the Drakes I was like can she REALLY do the end of Nightmare campaign at first I had my doubts (She did it remarkably well in a duo with Paragon and some other champions) then I was like Final Floor 90 Gryffin surely Scyl can't thrive THERE the Griffin will destroy her with the Skybond stacks right... Then Scyl did something that felt weird in my first successful run vs the Floor 90 Gryffin she actually almost SOLOED the Gryffin and I had to tune up some other champions with her to survive along with her managed to use Toragi and Coffin Smasher finally getting him to live in the setup! (Floor 90 Griffin has caused me severe hassles ever since I found him but it seems regen set Scyl does a LOT vs him!)

tallia has a counter attack buff on her A3 if im not mistaken

About the counterattack: when a champion who has more than one hit on their A1 counterattacks, they do in fact hit the amount of times as it is stated in their skill description (for instance, a Vizier would hit 3 times upon counterattacking). No idea where you got the information of "counterattacks only hit once" from, but that was just plain wrong

When is the bomb damage calculated, when the bomb debuff is applied or when it's detonated?

Block debuffs does in fact block debuffs that „cannot be resisted”

Do you have a video one step below even this? I’m trying to understand the game but as a brand new player, I don’t even understand the basics. Example questions a newbie like myself has after 2-3 weeks of casual playing- what is speed? We all take turns. How does speed help? What is accuracy? I’ve never had a player miss the target (I don’t think) how are we supposed to set up a team? Like, what roles do we need in any balanced team? The only one I keep hearing is a nuker? How do you figure out who is a good nuker and who should support the nuker? How do you choose the armor category? I have So many basic questions. Maybe I’m just not smart enough for this game 😂

@15:00, during explanation of decrease defense, you list that cooldowns do not refresh when under this debuff. That is a mistake, right? That's stun i believe.

veil also wears off the minute the champion attacking has it on. Perfect veil doesnt come off if the champions attacks. 👍

apparently, leech will heal the entire party as well. Bc I was vs the CB and I had Deacon as my lead and he was healing the entire team. i had no healers.

Just to clear any confusion as I think Ash missed it, bomb isn't just scaled on the champions attack stat but also their atk multiplier, so the difference between each champion has a wide damage range, so you want to check any chosen bomber you are thinking of using.

How deflecting a debuff works? Does it depends on accuracy? The debuffs which can't be resisted can be deflected?

Do a top 10 champs who need a buff
