I think this is a little unfair to Mansell and Mazepin, as they only did two, respectively five races for their teams. I'd rather put Michael Andretti ('93) for McLaren and Esteban Gutierrez ('16) for Haas, as they did more races than Mansell and Mazepin and were totally dominated by their teammates.

I would of chosen Gutteirez for Haas. He scored nothing while Grosjean got all the points.

Haven’t watched the video but Mazepin 2022 edit: I support Mazepin now, he’s just trying his best on the grid and we’re judging him too hard at times (despite the scandals and lack of pace) 2022 Part 2: Kevin wiped the floor on Schumi Jr, truly showed how far Mazepin was behind from the average F1 driver. His departure wasn't the best but truly the only way forward for Haas

I am struggling to understand how Ricardo Zonta is worse than Ricardo Rosset.

You really cant judge a driver to all the other teammates after completing just 6 rounds.

I was rather surprised to see that someone beat Michael Andretti to the McLaren slot here, but I suppose it makes sense that Andretti did do more races and scored a podium in the process.

I like these kind of drivers, it’s fun to cheer on drivers that appear to not be the greatest or struggling as 1. They might actually really appreciate your support as a fan as compared to being a fan of someone who wins all the time 2. If there is a shock good result for them, it’s one of the best feelings ever and your there before everyone else starts taking notice of them if they potentially improve over time! example: Supporting Gasly after he was dropped from red bull and then being a fan of his when he went on to win the 2020 Italian Grand Prix!

What about when Tyrell signed Tora Takagi and Riccardo Rosset.

"We will not use Fill-in drivers or drivers that didn't race-enough." (paraphrasing) Includes: - Mansell (though I can see this, 5 races in a car that didn't fit him and a team he didn't get along with, should disqualify). The car was bad too. For Mclaren, the aforementioned (below) Andretti fits the bill much more. - Capelli. 1 race, 1 DNQ. Completely goes against the rules. Why not pick Boutsen, who was outpaced consistently by Barrichello? Or how about Giorgio Pantano? - Rosset at Tyrrell, as mentioned or even Brian Henton, Julian Bailey, Olivier Grouillard or the Japanese boys; I loved Katayama, but he did nothing, same with Takagi. Really dropped the ball on this one. - Larini at Sauber? Again, 5 races, 3 finishes, one in the points and another 7th. You mention Fontana and Morbidelli, who were both considerably worse (again), Diniz did nothing and then the disastrous 2014, with Sutil and Gutierrez both doing jack-all. Larini is a true underdog of the sport and had at least some success, regardless of where he drove. - Lastly, worst of all, Baghetti? Are you for real? At least pick guys that did absolutely nothing and there's a list: - Alfonso De Portago - Cliff Allison - Jean Behra (since the, "not many races," rule doesn't apply after all) - Umberto Maglioli - Fisichella There's subjective and then there is just plain off and this list could've been MUCH better (I can also nitpick Renault, but not going to bother). And lastly, there is a laundry list of Minardi failures that were worse than Yoong (who at least scored a point), but also not going to bother.

Sorry again if I've mentioned this once already. The team that was Jordan ended when Force India was bought by Lawrence Stroll and became Racing Point. He didn't manage to buy the entry so this resulted in Force India losing all its points and Racing Point entering the table. The presence of both team names on the classification indicates that Racing Point was a new team

Benetton (Alpine): JJ Letho. On paper, 1994 should have been Letho's big chance, after years of outperforming lower midfield and back of the field cars, he was signed to the rising Benetton team alongside Michael Schumacher for 1994. But it was not to be. While trying to match the German's testing times at Silverstone, he had a nasty accident that left him unconscious and being transferred to hospital with fractured vertebrae in his neck. It could be argued that he never really recovered. He missed the first 2 races of the season to help his neck recover, made his first appearance for the team at the ultimately tragic San Marino Grand Prix, where he qualified 5th on the grid, but stalled the engine at the start and was collected by the unsighted Lotus of Pedro Lamy. From Monaco onwards, he really struggled. While Schumacher was recording frequent race wins and pole positions, Letho only qualified in the top ten one more time (4th in Spain) and only scored one point, after Christian Fittipaldi was excluded from the Canadian result for being underweight, before being dropped in favour of Jos Verstappen. He had one final chance with the team, filling in for the banned Schumacher in Monza and Estoril, but didn't fare very well even against Verstappen (at Monza Verstappen qualified 10th and Letho 20th, in Estoril Verstappen was again 10th and Letho 14th. In the races, only Verstappen could score any points while Benetton's star driver was away, Letho failed even to record a top 10 in Monza and crashed out of the race in Estoril). After Estoril, he was dropped by Benetton and after missing Jerez, he raced in Japan and Australia for Sauber, replacing Andrea De Cesaris. These would turn out to be the final times we'd see JJ in F1 machinery, from 1995, he embarked on a very successful career on Endurance racing, including winning the Le Mans 24 Hours at the first attempt in 1995

I imagine the pitch for this video was "How can we produce a video which announces that Mazepine is a bad driver without it looking like we are just targeting him?" Not that I think they're wrong. We all know paid drivers always have been and always will be a thing in F1, it's just a shame that so many of them have to be so bad behind the wheel.

Would've put Andrea De Crasharis as the worst Mclaren driver, in 1981 significantly outpaced by John Watson in what was a race winning car and only scored one point. Unfair to Mansell who only did 2 races in a car that couldn't even fit the guy

Zanardi's stint at Williams was incredibly shocking for someone who absolutely dominated CART. His replacement at Chip Ganassi, Montoya, did much better on his own eventual F1 debut. Yoong was pretty good in Asian F3, but the series was in no way adequate preparation for F1.

It always amazes me that Williams went with Coulthard instead of Mansell for 1995. I honestly think that Mansell could of given Schumacher a better run for his money than Hill that year (who's head was in the clouds in 1995) despite his age. He, almost certainly, would have done better than Coulthard that year who was a waste of a good seat. From what I've read, the Williams FW17 was the fastest car on the grid that season however the drivers totally let the team down. Especially Hill who made some truly awful mistakes that year.

Mercedes (Tyrrell) Ricardo Rosset: whilst not setting the world alight with his performance in his junior career, Rosset was nonetheless a promising prospect when he entered F1 in 1996 with Arrows, however, by the time he was with Tyrrell in 1998, after just a year with Arrows (where, while never out qualifying his team mate, Jos Verstappen, he nonetheless was consistent in that he finished the races, mostly, while Verstappen didn't) and a single attempt to qualify in the woefully underprepared Lola team 1997 (where neither he, nor team mate Vincenzo Sospiri could get anywhere near the 107% of pole position time required to qualify, before the team imploded) he was increasingly considered a joke. Heavily out qualified by team mate Tora Takagi, sometimes by nearly 3 seconds, worse was to follow. Before the season even began, Tyrrell was bought out by British American Tabaco, which would rename the team BAR the following year, and Ken Tyrrell quit the team when he learned that Rosset was being hired. Rosset then proceeded to fail to qualify for 5 Grands Prix in 1998, including at Monaco where the team was so livid by the failure to qualify that they switched the R and T from Rosset's name above his pit garage that it would spell Tosser

The current Aston Martin team is not the same entity as the old Jordan team. The Racing Point consortium only bought Force India's assets and championship entry, folding the old team and founding a new one with the same name and probably most of the original staff.

Romain Grosjean did MUCH (MUCH!!!) worse when Piquet Jr. was replaced. I can't agree with this choice because it was clear that Renault was undermining NP Jr. him since day 1. A part from the 2nd place in Hockenhein, he did at least 2 or 3 great races that year (of course, using outdated cars and without pit preference). I remember Fuji and Hungaroring (and/or Magny Cours?). His incident weren't planned out of nowhere: Briatore made his life in F1 extremely miserable with constant blackmail. This guy should be in jail. Also his race in Hockenhein was helped by a great strategy, it's true, but his pace was better than Massa's Ferrari by the end of the race, and that was a wet race. He made it happen. Well... aside from this, you forgot to mention Ricardo Rosset.

Jos Verstappen was also far slower than Nelson Piquet Jr at Benetton/Renault. Piquet hadn't a gap of 1-2s from Alonso.
