Every DC Character Hinted to Appear in the DCU & Where

A little while ago I made a video going over the 50+ DC characters who have been confirmed to be appearing in the upcoming new DC cinematic universe, James Gunn’s DCU. What this video didn’t include are the even larger amount of characters who haven’t been confirmed but have been hinted at, heavily or otherwise, by James Gunn. What I’ll be doing in this video is going over these 80+ characters, explaining their hints and how likely I think they are to appear and if so, which of the confirmed projects would be the best fit for them, although sometimes, nothing really fits considering there’s a limited amount of projects to choose from.

How i would like the batfamily That in the brave and the bold we get flashbacks of all the other robins till damian And we see Dick and Tim plus maybe Cassandra,stephanie and barbara But we don’t see jason we only see part of his death in flashbacks And in the post credit scene we see jason coming back to life Preparing for a red hood movie Also i want to see cassandra as orphan instead of batgirl :) Also a redhood outlaws team would be cool ;)

I can see Doom patrol project being an animated show for Max as: 1. most dcu shows for Max seems to be tied to Waller and her failure and Doom patrol in comics worked with government after suicide squad was declared as ineffective. 2. animation works better for Doom patrol, as it can help portrait weirdness of team and their villains.

Still waiting for the second part of Doom Patrol season 4... speaking of, this show clearly demonstrated that live action can work great for Doom Patrol, if done right. My favorite animated adaptation of the team might be their "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" episode *The Last Patrol!* Then they had some small roles in Teen Titans and Young Justice... But the live action TV show is still my favorite, it was such a great surprise to have them come back to *Titans* in season 4, they hadn't shown up in that show since season 1!

You don’t even need Green Arrow appearing as a hero right away or all the time. He can appear as Oliver Queen as it relates to Lois/Clark reporting or business with WayneCorp, or he went to same boarding school as Bruce, etc

Cyborg image is not pre-new 52, it is from his spin off serries which happened after new 52 but took influence from older designs of the character.

Yes! That would awesome, though I hope the leader of the team is Dick or Tim and not Damien. I also hope that Victor isn’t a part of the justice league. Also remember that Dick is probably already Nightwing and Wally would be Flash already if Damien is already born.

I think because plastic man and elongated man are so similar they should do both of them and make them brothers or something maybe even twins. I could see that dynamic working if they get the right actors with fire chemistry. Kinda like the relationship between stiles and Derick on teen wolf

i think martian manhunter in superman legacy is perfect, he could pose as a well known character like maybe perry white and after superman fights for alien's rights to prove they're like the humans, he'll reveal his identity and helps him

You missed Engineer, she is basically confirmed as Gunn has posted a picture of her on Mastodon similar to the other characters he hinted through photos like Lobo and Mister Terrific.

I love to see Batwoman (Kate Kane alone) and Batwing (Luke Fox) will be in the DCU Bat-Family. In the comics, Tim Drake was robin before Damian Wayne came alone.

@@rjk537Yh , Gunn said that animated movies will be in cinemas. The last animated movie in cinema was Teen titans Go and before that was Batman mask of the phantasm back in 1992, I think?

Good video, but, you have so many characters hinted at that you believe are most likely to fit in either Superman, Walller or Maybe Peace Maker. When most of them are clearly connected to BAtman. Even Waller is more connected to Batman. So is a character is likely to appear in Waller they would be mor likely to appear in "The Brave and the Bold" and less likely to appear in Superman

It would be cool though of all these Superman villains would show up and Superman as well as some of these other heroes that haven’t been confirmed. It’s already cool, knowing we’re going to see all these characters and Superman making it a bigger and more significant movie and more important by introducing all these characters and world, building the universe, and having it feel, by having all these other superheroes show up to be different in comparison, to all the Superman other movies

Aquaman 2 is the Dceu. DCU will still have some actors like Gal Gadot, Margot Robbie,John Cena,and even Blue Beetle is converting to the New DCU. But won't be connected to the dceu.

I have zero faith in James Gunn making good DC movies. He's only made one or two movies that were popular with non-comic book readers. Scooby Doo and its sequel were trash. He wrote both Scooby Doo film. His remake of Dawn of the Dead was trash, Slither, Super, The Belko Experiment, all trash. He's not a good writer and film maker.
