The saddest part about "Things Change" imo is when Beast Boy visits the place he and Terra hung out at in the episode "Betrayel" and is depressed feeling nostalgia.

Man....we needed more Red X, he's such an underused character and was hands down one of the coolest characters on the show imo. I would've loved to see him interact with other characters besides the titans or learn more about him and his whole feud with Robin or even his backstory as we know almost nothing about him.

I can understand why most people don't really like "Things Change" because it left the series on a cliffhanger and unanswered questions, but you know what? Some things are better off unsaid. If the sixth season ever happened, they'll probably have Terra do one last major role that talks about how she got out of her stone or if the girl is a double and later on, she makes a cameo appearances in the background. I don't know how a redemption arc will work for her, because I doubt the Titans (except for Beast Boy who easily forgiven Terra and is determined she can still be in the team again) will still let her back into the team ever since she betrayed them, I know they all have forgiven her during her sacrifice, but even if they found out she's still out there somewhere alive, I feel like deep down they still have trust issues towards her and feels reluctant to give her a third chance (since she was offered to join the team like twice) and it's like Raven said "The last time we saw Terra, she wasn't exactly one of the good guys. Maybe she didn't want to be found".

Season 5 was in a really bad position. Having to follow-up Raven's story & several characters of the week hurt. Didn't help that the ratings were on the low side too for the Titans

It's so ironic that the final episode, which was meant to tell the audience "Show's over, move on" has been the epicenter for most fan theories in the 15 years since and one of the main reasons people want the show brought back. Personally, I don't think that girl is Terra for multiple reasons and hope that if they ever bring it back, she'd have a full redemption arc.

This is honestly my one favorite season, though I have to admit that it feels rushed a lot of time. The idea that the titans have to fight against a force that not only are on equal footing but can outthink them is a fantastic concept. They’ve fought trigon, but he was a demon that they were allowed to go brute force at. Here? They have to face a group that is able to completely destroy you. I love seeing how the titans completley get separated and defeated towards the end, leaving only beast boy. Seeing the titans in such a helpless situation because of being outsmarted is such a depressing scene. Unfortunately, it ends up kind of too ambitious to cover in one season. The brotherhood of evil aren’t really characterized well as we don’t get much time with them, so we aren’t able to learn anything about them unless you read the comics. The season does fine with making sure that you get some time with the honorary titans like the titans east and kid flash (who I have no idea why he isn’t on the main roster) whcih helps in case you don’t know these guys since they aren’t exactly popular characters. However, that kind of gets ditched towards the end as they show a bunch more honorary titans...that you honestly have to read the comics to know who they are, otherwise they’re just cameos that you won’t understand. I think having more episodes where we got each episode dedicated to a honorary titan, and the climax being some sort of generic villain that’s revealed to have been a proxy by the brotherhood would’ve worked a lot better. We could get time with the honorary titans, see how manipulative the brotherhood could be, and the build up to the finale would’ve worked better. Instead of how rushed It felt with the hopelessness kind of just getting resolved off screen for some titans. However, due to the limited time they had, it ends up rushed. Though I do like that they made beast boy the contributing factor to their defeat considering he’s the one who faced them.

Lightspeed is my favourite episode I like the way the H.I.V.E Five is portrayed and how the episode focuses on the villains for once. Also... Kyd Wykkyd is cool

The symbolism of Terra in Things Change was great, you still forgot a subtle detail When Terra closed her fists before spilling the drink, you can see the ice cubes sink downward. This could possibly have been foreshadowing that she still has her powers

homecoming part 1 and 2 is great

Honestly I feel the same way about the Doom Patrol and the homecoming episodes. As of right now that's as far as I am into the video.

Teen Titans is still my favorite cartoon series to this day, I loved the honesty throughout the review and I agreed with most of what you said, thanks for doing this amazing cartoon!

This season is very overhated. It’s way better than Season 3 but was a step down from Season 4. It felt rushed most of the time and ended the series on a huge cliffhanger. Hopefully it they ever make a season 6 they will finish the story and give Starfire a season to end the series on a better note.

I don’t count the comics, mostly because “things change” was a conclusive ending to the show and continuing the show seems inappropriate. The whole reason I find the last episode interesting are multiple interpretations about what was real and fake. The comics were meant for a much younger demographic so subtlety was not a focus.

Only Season 1 - 4 were great; Season 5 is a mixed bag for me. It’s cool to see all these many characters coming together in an almost JL Unlimited-esque fashion, but the show is “Teen Titans.” I wanna see more struggles and themes being played out for the Titans

Adult commentary channels are usually awful when it comes to children's shows and you proved that tremendously. It seems like to you the darker a season is the better when in reality something doesn't have to be extremely dark or depressing to be great. Adults should stop reviewing children's shows since y'all don't actually understand what it takes. Besides that your commentary is incredibly lackluster and biased. I can tell from this video that you're a Robin x Raven fan.

while i understand your criticism on the Doom Patrol, i also feel there was a ... sort of translation issue with them. See, The Doom Patrol always carried a suicidal undertone with it, as they were DC's version of X-Men, they too were about being so different, so "broken" that the world wanted them gone. And that sort of "go out in a blaze of glory" mentality doesn't translate well to Teen Titans, or atleast not with the way they did it. But i did hear it in Mento's "you just delayed our destruction" line. In Teen Titans it comes out of left field exspecially as a season starter, but if you have background knowledge... well one tends to be more forgiving.

my least favourite episode(s) were homecoming. I never really liked it. And my fav is lightspeed. I really liked how jinx interrupted the intro.

Episode 9 gives me Wacky Races vibes.

I hate to disagree with you, but "Lightspeed" is not only my least favorite episode of the series, but possibly my least favorite episode in ANY series. I honestly think it's the main reason why Cyborg isn't more popular in the fandom. Jinx ending up with Cyborg could've tremendously helped out his popularity; a big part of the other Titans' popularity is related to Robin x Starfire and Beast Boy x Raven being popular ships in the fandom.
