UPDATE: It's been discovered that some of these glitches were found in a Nintendo Switch emulator. However, I can 100% confirm that they're real, and I've tested them all myself on my own Switch. Man... I'm sure that the game will eventually be patched to a more playable state some time in the future, but the damage has already been done to Sonic's reputation at this point. First impressions are lasting impressions, and this remaster is utterly broken on release.

Edit: Seems like Twip's previous video showcasing the glitches has gained more likes. It wasn't like that before, but now that everyone's complaining about the game, I guess new viewers started searching for Sonic Colors Ultimate Glitches and clicked on that video and gave it a like. Clearly this game was built for a high performing console of its generation, the Wii. So demanding that no other console could handle any game from its library. Nintendo feared it and dread the task of porting their games to the Switch.

Appreciate you taking the time to show this to both potential buyers and the developers. Been playing on PC and it's mostly just the glitches from the PS5 video that I've been getting albeit not at all frequent. I have been eager to play Ultimate and what I've played so far I've enjoyed but even I have to admit this isn't acceptable for a remaster of a critically acclaimed game. Granted this isn't the sort of thing that can be fixed quickly but at the very least it's out there for the Devs to see.

Thanks for doing an amazing job at pointing out the errors to be fixed Twip! I myself bought the game [PC version] and had a very fun time and found only 2-3 bugs! (It seems that the PC and the Xbox Versions of the game are the best) But for that, I won't say that these bugs and glitches are to be ignored. Thanks for spending so much time in this for the game :)

After seeing this, I don't want an Unleashed Remaster. (I don't blame Blind Squirrel either, it sucks they were forced to rush it.)

Pretty sure that the red bonus text is because the game prioritises the “Time’s Up” text as it stops you from earning bonuses and then renders the bonuses after the game runs a check to see if you’ve triggered Time’s Up

O-oh…wow…thank you for compiling all of these so sega can easily see the problems…I think I’m mostly surprised at how much there is and how many small things are broken too…props to the people at the end who kept playing long enough to capture that much footage…I don’t think I’d be that persistent…

Instead of early access, Sega really should've just released a short demo of the first couple levels or so. Looking at these glitches, man it is just depressing honestly. I had _Colors Ultimate_ pre-ordered because I've been very excited to try it out for the first time. I bought into the digital deluxe edition on Switch and thankfully I haven't gotten any game-breaking glitches, aside from audio-related bugs, and so far I've been having a genuinely good time playing it. But the fact that everyone's experiences with this title have just been all over the place is a big deal. Sega, please, the next time you want to allow consumers to try out new releases early, just put out a demo instead and let the developers continue working on the full game. If the game is nearing its intended release and has this many glitches, delay the release for a while. I hope that when more patches come out, _Colors Ultimate_ will be more consistently praised. But for right now, this could be much, much, MUCH better than it is.

Eggman: Warning while you get cool powers from the hyper go on power of the wisps, you will also experience extreme Hulunations of spazing colour sequences which could trigger epileptic seizures, this is especially common on hedgehogs.
