Sonic Colors needs the Unleashed treatment: directly ported with upscaling and 60fps support. Its simplicity is what makes it so effective.

I've been so excited for this mod since it was first shown off. I'm absolutely gonna play this the moment it comes out! Great video by the way. Easily my favorites of the KZfaqrs that got this early.

The two things I want most in Colors is for rings to add to boost guage and to skip the filler acts. For real, you get to Act 5 in some of these zones and you are just done. This visual overhaul is a massive step in making Ultimate definitive. But there's hacks for the Wii version that skip the dud stages, so... Wii might still have the advantage here.

I genuinely am so happy that this remake might get a chance to be definitive. This is pretty much the only reason I bought the game right now. But still, you shouldnt feel like buying a game is worth it if you'd like to just use it for a fix mod. This just proves that this remake is just not worth its asking price. Can't wait for the mod to release.

what mechanics, the ones that were in Generations to begin with? what gimmicks, they're remade in some Sonic Generations editor, what visuals, decompiled textures from Sonic Unleashed slapped into Sonic Generations, with shaders from Sonic Generations? so on and so forth this SCU project has it's own custom made shaders, custom model, custom *everything* to polish the game, do you know where i'm coming from

@@mrmelonman2893 my point is making it more like the boost games on next gen consoles, as that’s likely what would have happened had colors been released on the 360 and ps3, with the wii version just being the lesser version with scaled back level design and mechanics, sort of like how unwiished is to unleashed.

You know, it's sad that we as fans have to clean up Sega's mistakes on their past games that are supposed to be "The Defenitive Experience" and yet to still make the game miraculously bad or even worse than the original game. And even though we do have mods to clean up the mess. People on console like me can not experience bugfixes that fans made. Truly Sad.

I literally checked the update history on Steam for the game before I went on YT and after all this time there wasnt a single official patch, nothing. Not even the usual "stability and performance improvement" stuff, literally nothing. Square Enix gave Nier Automata a very beefy patch half a year ago (4 years post release) fixing many of the issues I had to mod away, but nobody feels bothered to fix this fresh-out-the-oven game? Its beyond me, I never played colors and want to check it out but at this rate I'm better off with Dolphin 60 FPS cheats....

Never liked colors that much. I played the first couple levels or so and basically it's just a very standard platformer with not very good platforming controls, oh and cool boost segments. Should probably fully finish it sometime (maybe it gets better) hey at least this mod looks epic. such a shame it's never fucking official

El problema esq como dijiste baja el rendimiento y eso es un problema, ya que ami con una 3060 y un r5 5500, no me va a 144fps estables, suele haber caídas a 120 y algunas veces hasta 70-90, todo. esto culpa del denuvo. En mi opinión si tienes un pc q puede emular el colors original, hazlo
