IIRC Bale dropped his weight to around 130-140 pounds for that role so what you see in his sickly, emaciated character is real, no CGI. And you wanna talk a REAL badass move? Immediately after that role he built himself back up to a solid 240 pounds to play Bruce Wayne/Batman. That is serious badass from top to bottom!

Don't Expect too much from the movie. Christian bale may do a spectacular job at potraying the psycho god butcher but one thing that needs to be kept in mind is that The movie is not about Gorr . It is mainly about passing the torch to Female Thor and Thor regaining his identity . Gor might be in the final fight where he kills no one and maybe few dead bodies of Gods but nothing too disturbing for a Disney movie

End Gorr's genocide once and for all
