Heartstopper by Alice Oseman is a really cute graphic novel series!

I LOVED The Prince and the Dressmaker!! Other graphic novels I enjoyed were the Heartstopper series by Alice Oseman and Bloom by Kevin Panetta and Savanna Ganucheau. I read a couple more this year but they were all just okay, I guess.

I read Heartstopper vol. 2 and I couldn't stop smiling throughout the book. It's so cute and wholesome it hurts!

I recently discovered that Locke & Key has been turned into a Netflix’s original series, which is now coming out really soon, and boyyy what an amazing comic book series! Also quite graphic, and definitely violent, but super interesting concept and story. Highly recommend. It’s also only 6 books if I remember well, so quick to read through (so quick I read it three times).

Ones that were my the top graphic novels this year were- The Handmaid's Tale - graphic novel based on Margaret Atwood's novel by by Renée Nault (Adapter, Artist). Storm by Tim Minchin Waves by AJ Dungo - beautiful story mainly set in Hawaii about loss and surfing as a soulful pursuit. Aya - (first in a series) by Marguerite Abouet about an Africa without the ... war and famine, an Africa that endures despite everything because, as we say back home, life goes on."

I also need to continue Saga, it's so good. I have the last trade for that Ms. Marvel run that you just started and need to finish that too. Other recent graphic novels I read are Spider-Man Life Story (such a great twist on Spider-Man), finished the last Invincible compendium (probably the best super-hero comic ever ;) ), read the first 4 volyms of Paper Girl (loved it), Read all 3 Umbrella Academy books (liked the first one but the other two was not so good), Skyward (really cool idea and love to see where it goes). And right now am I "enjoying" the first compendium of The Walking Dead.

Another great graphic novel is This was our pact by Ryan Andrews. The art style is really cute and the friendship is way too wholesome.

Try Snow, glass, apples by Neil Gaiman and Colleen Doran! It’s dark, creepy and the illustrations are just beyond words! Like stained glass and art nouveau and vintage fairytale pictures combined.

I would love to see you read The Katurran Odyssey by David Wieger. It's more of a children's book but it has stayed my favorite book for 15+ years.

Oh I have to check out some of these. I haven't even heard about The Carpet Merchant of Konstantiniyya before wathing your video. And I MUST have it! The style is gorgeous and this hardcover... Can you tell me how many pages it has? Yours is very thick and I found different number of pages on some websites. I'm not sure if there are more versions of this book.
