I think you guys should have each guest submit a few videos of themselves throwing. Not to show the audience (although that would also be cool) but for Robbie and Brad to see the guests’ form. In this case, they would be able to see if Josh was wobbling his forehands and that was causing a disc to turnover or whether he was throwing it clean and the disc was flippy.

I like the idea of having episodes where the focus is slimming down/refining a bag. It would make it easier for players that have been in the sport for a long time to fit the bill for the podcast, which could make for a more nuanced conversation about building a bag. I'm at the point in my game where I have plenty of discs and know what molds are staples in my bag (buzzzes, thunderbirds, and wraiths are the molds I have the most of) but have been trying to figure out how to balance my limited bag space. Fairway drivers have been especially difficult to find a cohesive lineup of discs since I don't have the space for multiple 7 and 9 speeds. I've been trying to figure out what stabilities I want covered by those 2 different speed categories and having an episode talking about what goes into someone making those decisions would be fun to listen to!

I think the simplifying of bags or other less intensive breakdowns could be interesting. You could do a couple in a week as you aren't doing the deep dive of a full bag breakdown. I know since I have submitted my applications to be on, I have changed my bag multiple times, but still have issues with it. I have been wanting to put together a smaller bag for travel. but it's always hard to decide which molds to not include in a smaller bag.

Would be awesome if Brad recorded the throws and you could edit it in to the KZfaq for we can see what he is describing with the Discs Robbie suggest.

Funny how Brad kindly stated that this guy has only been playing for a few months and is throwing a 14 speed.... "I'd shy away from that." Yeah I am with Brad on that one.

I think a Scorch in the Discraft line would fit that flippy point he is trying to reach. I tiny bit more stable than some similar discs.

The combination of the track and the bead on the banger makes it so easy to get a consistent putting grip.

Sphinx is a great disc, I can throw over 400’ and I throw the sphinx the same way he is describing it and I have thrown it full hyzerflip to turn over and fade out at the end 450’

Always entertaining episodes, long time listener. I feel like my bag either needs a disc or two taken away, but replaced by something I don't already have. I tend to throw overstable instead of neutral on hyzer, so I hear you Brad!

Big z is a blend of z and x plastic I think. Its a tad bit softer with a surface gummy feel that the z plastic does. It tends to fly i touch more overstable. All my mids are big z because i throw them more and i wasnt interested in beating them in fast.

As a person who has played since February of this year, I'm struggling to slim down my bag. I have most shots covered but as a prominent forehand torque resistance is not something that flight numbers cover. I did apply if you guys do have a chance to give me some insight that would be amazing. I'm just at a loss.

You guys should do hole specific episodes, have a player map out a hole they are having issues with and then you guys can dissect different lines they can try with specific discs

Beadless is best, well sorta, but I found an aviar 3 and mine has a microbead but I don't know if it's supposed to have a micro bead even. But since I putt aviar, its a very familiar feel.

I like the Halo Glow Aviar3 as a forehand disc. Otherwise I'm chuckin a R-Pro Aviar. If you like a smaller bead that flies like an aviar check out the Dynamic Discs Truth, the classic soft plastic is fuego.

R-Pro plastic from the past few years is mediocre, typical baseline. But it used to have actual rubber in it and was more akin to an SSSS Gateway disc. I have R-Pro Aviar molds from 1- 15+ years ago and the older ones can actually taco through the cage and maintain integrity, whereas the modern ones are closer to a semi flexible pro plastic and warp after tree hits.

I would love to see videos of removing a disc if it’s overlapping a bunch of others or what not but maybe even remove a couple of discs and recommend some that were replaced to fill in gaps

It honestly frustrates me when people encourage new players to continue with distance drivers. Maybe out of fear of making the new player upset. Anything over a 9 speed teaches and enforces bad form habits and risks injury. I didn't get better or more distance until I dialed back to 7 speeds and below. It taught me better form. A 7 to 9 speed should go 320' to 380'. If you aren't getting that from a 7 to 9 speed, you are not ready for distance drivers.
