It's a very tricky thing...having family members able to compete for tenders isn't particularly wrong if they can be pre-qualified, the issue is the awarding of the tender itself...if it's reviewed and awarded by a competent independent committee based on merit, then it's perfectly fine...However, the likelihood of this being used to politician's biased private benefit is high.

Story ya hio bill i guess Sifuna explained it in a manner that makes a lot of sense...He said you cannot punish an entire lineage from doing tenders with the govt simply because they are related to a politician...The problem comes only if the politician's office is directly involved for example You are a governor or an Mp and a relative gets a tender in the same office

@Mwaf you should listen to Sifuna's arguments before condemning him. Your podcast is now a big platform you should limit unfounded claims. Your sibling should not be denied opportunities simply because you are in government. Government opportunities should be open and transparent.
