To be honest though this does get annoying when you’re trying to get away from certain predators or fight gunmen only to get bucked off and get attacked by cougars or gunmen so this gets annoying over time and makes me think the horses are complete cowards who can’t be trusted to deal with situations that they are most useful in!

When you're doing the train mission, I decided to hog tie the 3 guys during the last bit and leave them on the tracks. 1 and 2 went fine but then when it came to number 3, I was going too fast and my horse got stuck on the down slope by the bridge (I miracled my ass back up somehow) with the other guy hog tied on the back of it. After about 5 minutes of me attempting to whistle it back up, the horse decides to slip and fucking die, bringing the 3rd guy down with it. Time to start the mission all over again. Hopefully it goes better this time.
