Even though Jun and Tatsuya are the iconic pair of Persona 2 in my eyes, god I just love how ecstatic and joyful Lisa is when Tatsuya reciprocates her feelings!! Why must this game give me so many sweet options I have to turn down?!

You all are fools, Tatsuya's only love is his Motorcycle, never get between a man and their machines!

Each bond in this game has support of being genuinely platonic and I love that. It gives off a relaxed and realistic vibe, especially since there are some pieces of non-platonic strife (the lines delivered by Shadow Lisa, for example). Love is complicated and has very few boundaries in practice -- unless they are set by the people involved. The notion that you can be friends first in this game, even when applying a lovers option, is a testament to long-lasting relationships. ^^

I kid you not my whole play through my mind was made up about choosing Jun, but when you actually fight Shadow Lisa and hear Lisa’s resolve I choose her in a heartbeat. Her love and dedication to Tatsuya made me tear up. She’s always loved him ever since they were kids. Not saying Jun didn’t of course it’s just I couldn’t ignore her strong feelings. Not to mention her reaction. Ugh I love her so much.

I did this scene multiple times and, somehow, never noticed that Lisa's gestures were different for every confession...

Remember that regardless of the player's choices Tatsuya still has his own independent thoughts and feelings, so no matter who you have him date in Innocent Sin he does have feelings for Lisa, Jun, and Maya all at once. That's how all three are potential options in the first place, and Eikichi being the only dialogue choice that the characters recognize is Tatsuya joking. And yes he mainly focuses on Maya in Eternal Punishment but it's part of the complex that he develops around protecting after the part where she, you know, tragically dies.

I choose Jun without thinking. I've got no problem with the others, but storywise Jun and Tatsuya seem a lot more organic in my opinion. Jun had an obvious infatuation towards his best friend, yet he was more mature and not pushy, unlike Lisa, who kisses you at endgame no matter who you choose and sometimes tries way too hard to get Tatsuya's attention (I'm not saying she was toxic, but at the start of the game she may give some vibes to that, and her shadow just kinda verifies it. I think she does better as a friend, as sweet as she is). I feel that Maya has more chances than Lisa, though, but in the end she was just the big sis of the group and they all loved each other the same. The difference is that Tatsuya and Jun were closer to one another, which is shown when they traded personal and valued tokens, as well as with their earlier connection. Anyway, at the end of the game none of this happens and on EP, taking into consideration that Tatsuya had no connection to the others, Tatsuya/Maya becomes kinda canon, so no problem with whoever you ship him with xd And please, don't use the argument about Atlus just including Tatsuya/Jun to attract girls as queerbait. That's not accurate information. They wanted to see if people would value an homosexual relationship as much as the others and attract people that could in the process. Either way, the story is well written and no matter who you choose, I think that they all have the same chances. The options are there for a reason and it's up to you how you process or view the character's stories and personalities, and their evolution.

Also love how if you pick Jun - in game him and Tatsuya will be "lovers!?" ,but if you pick Maya or Lisa its just "best friends"

I personally find that Lisa is the canon choice because #1 You get this choice after completing Lisa's part of the dungeon after you defeat her shadow self meaning this should be a moment of character development for LISA, #2 If you choose any other choice other than Lisa you lose her group contact thing for demon conversations(You can earn it back later on but still) and also #3 Spoiler warning so be warned, but...at the end of the game Lisa is the VERY LAST party member to disappear before being transported to another world and before that happens she leaves Tatsuya a parting gift, which is a kiss to which he blushes from(I think it's clear to me that he reciprocated those feelings by then). It's true that maybe Tatsuya might've been somewhat annoyed by Lisa at the beginning of the game but I think throughout the course of the game he started to ascertain feelings for her.
