Just to vent this out, Vivek definitely is reminiscent of JFK, Nixon, FDR, etc not when they were president but when they were rising stars, when they were the more youthful appealing faces that spewed rhetoric that, whether true or not, definitely, was able to rile up the crowds of their respective parties. He may or may not be the future of the Republican party, time can only tell..

The first time I saw Vivek Ramaswamy throw out "e pluribus unum" I instantly knew who he was trying to copy. I would compare Ramaswamy more to Andrew Yang: someone who is trying to appeal to a young, blindly reactionary voter base by subtly trying to copy the overt rhetorical flourishes of Barack Obama, despite not quite being taken seriously by most voters because he fails to match the faux authenticity in Obama's linguistic capabilities. But even if he could recreate Obama's brand, regardless of what anyone may think of Obama's performance as President (he was "meh" for me), I'm sure everyone is already tired of the Obama copycats by this point. In my opinion, Ramaswamy should get involved in a municipal administration to build legitimacy, even though it would never convince me to vote for him (I probably disagree with at least 75% of the policies he proposes). With the path he's treading upon currently, if he's really going to have a career in federal level politics, then in the best case scenario, the niche voter base he's currently trying to appeal to still won't fully control the zeitgeist for at least another couple of election cycles. And that's being optimistic about that voter base even ever completely emerging at all. But I can't see into the future (it's May 2024 as I write this for anyone reading this several months/years from now).

I admire the fact that you actually inserted some of your opinions into this video as that is not easy to do when your videos are usually very lacking in opinions and stick straight to the facts. You seriously deserve more subscribers. Looking back on it all, I would say that Vivek and Burgum did exceptionally well. Vivek went from a nobody to getting 8% in Iowa while running against possibly the biggest political figure of our time. He did it while gaining a core base of supporters that had Trump not been running, would have likely supported him instead. He has a large political future ahead of him and is probably, as of right now at least, Trump's most likely successor. Burgum was an unknown governor of a very politically irrelevant state. Despite his very uncomfortable charisma, he managed to qualify for two debates and is looking very likely to receive a cabinet position should Trump win.

Yeah, seems pretty late for that now though. I was very underwhelmed by the entire primary process and was wondering if it might be worth revisiting this subject soon to reflect on it.

@@AndreDutraTV If for some reason you ever decide to revisit the topic, I think it might be interesting to approach it from the perspective of comparing his campaign in the primary to his campaign in the general election. It's May 2024 as I write this, so for anyone reading this in the far future, I'm not sure if he won or not, but I have a feeling that there might be something worth commenting about. And I mean, it's Donald Trump after all LOL. When is there not anything interesting to discuss regarding him?
