TRAILER PARK BOYS SUNNYVALE TRAILER PARK FILMING LOCATION FROM EVERY SEASON Used Google Earth to show you the actual filming locations of every Sunnvale trailer park, one of my favorite shows (TPB) the Trailer Park Boys in Nova Scotia. I show you where the one they made themselves starting on season 5 then I show you where they have filmed in Bible Hill every since the came back after the 7 year hiatus.
Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian mockumentary television series created and directed by Mike Clattenburg. The show focuses on the misadventures of a group of trailer park residents, some of whom are ex-convicts, living in the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The television series, a continuation of Clattenburg's 1999 film of the same title, premiered on Showcase in 2001.[1] There are three films in the series: The Movie, released on October 6, 2006; Countdown to Liquor Day, released on September 25, 2009; and Don't Legalize It, released on April 18, 2014.Sunnyvale Trailer Park is a fictional name, but the first few seasons of the show were filmed in an actual trailer park. However, the show decided to build their own trailer park set for filming as the show gained popularity, after residents complained about how disturbing production could be.

We all wish we could live in Sunnyvale I know but at least if we can't live there or visit I can show you every filming location of Sunnyvale. So join me as we take a journey into the world of Bubbles, Ricky and Julian and where they grew up in Sunnyvale Trailer Park.

It is unclear how long Sunnyvale has been in operation, but it has been established since at least 1977. Many of the residents of the park grew up there, including Ricky, Bubbles and Julian. Originally, the park was owned and operated by Jim Lahey and Barbara Lahey but the management has changed hands several times. Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian mockumentary television series created and directed by Mike Clattenburg. The show focuses on the misadventures of a group of Sunnyvale trailer park residents, some of whom are ex-convicts, living in the fictional Sunnyvale Trailer Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The television series, a continuation of Clattenburg's 1999 film of the same title, premiered on Showcase in 2001.[ There are three films in the series: The Movie, released on October 6, 2006; Countdown to Liquor Day, released on September 25, 2009; and Don't Legalize It, released on April 18, 2014.
Had there been such thing as Sunnyvale trailer park in Shakespeare’s day you better believe he’d have set a play or two there. Everybody knows the trailer park is where it goes down. Instead, the task fell to a group of Canadian misfits - Mike Clattenburg, creator of Trailer Park Boys, and his stars: John Paul Tremblay (Julian), Robb Wells (Ricky) and Mike Smith (Bubbles) - to create the most unintentionally profound comedy of the 21st century, a lo-fi, mockumentary-style saga about dope, guns and power struggles with Maritime accents.
“It’s kinda like COPS, but from the criminal’s point of view,” Ricky says, in the pilot episode, explaining the “documentary” crew following his and Julian’s return to Sunnyvale trailer park after an 18-month prison sentence. But he’s also explaining Trailer Park Boys to the as-yet-uninitiated TV audience, whose knowledge of the mockumentary format was so new - particularly in the US - some thought it was an actual documentary about small-town Canadian life. Interest exploded in the next decade: the series is set to return for a two-season-long arc on Netflix, Trailer Park Boys seasons were shot in various sunnyvale trailer parks in Nova Scotia, but the crew was not welcome to film again due to complaints from residents. Space was purchased and a functional trailer park set was built in Dartmouth for later seasons, giving the staff more freedom than at previous locations. When the series returned from hiatus beginning with Season 8, it was shot at Bible Hill Estates Trailer Park in Truro, Nova Scotia, with every subsequent episode being filmed at that location.

Yes awesome job, Lahey's trailer was the only trailer imported into the park on puropse in Season 3 (as they were going to fuck it up). It was parked on the front lawn/front road of the blue trailer on the corner of Wilbert Devoe Crescent and Ben Johnson Lane. In the back of that blue trailer that is still there was Bubbles's blue shed (the blue shed no longer there which was also probably imported in). I live up the road, a 5 minute walk in another trailer park. The Season 3 park looks pretty mych exactly the same 21 years now after filming season 3.

The Bible Hills set 8-12 , is gone, The Trailer they used as a set for Ricky's was arsoned in October If I remember right, and the Julian Trailer ( The Dirty Dancer) was recently demolished, it's all gone now,

I did most of this on my own a couple of years ago and you used to be able to go into the season 3 Timberlea park. Lahey's trailer was parked up close to the one on the corner just for the shoot. The one on Google earth is the back side of Julian's where Bubbles new shed is. Also you can see J-Roc's moms place with the enclosed porch in your video at the end of the road.

Season 2's location is the most frustrating one for me. It was tiny and well referenced by the 3 smokestacks so I felt that I could pinpoint most of the scenes, WRONG. For instance, the brick back drop for Sam's election speech for trailer park supervisor, but I could not. One of my favorite episodes of the entire series was in season 2, "JROCS Crib Licensed". I wish I could pinpoint that trailer, that is if it exists today. I've got to remember, that was in 2002; hard to believe because every episode seems freshly made last week. Once again, thanks for this video. I reference it often.

Great video, I wish there was more content of people exploring filming locations DURING the time the episodes were being made, even if just from the road, of the show being made, it would be so cool to see. I bet you somehow out there has some very cool home videos on an old tape.

I know Canada is a beautiful place with many wonderful things to see. But the only place I want to visit is Nova Scotia and all these various trailer parks. That's pretty pathetic on my part, but I love the show so much. Maybe a quick trip to Moncton would be nice too.

Since your video is my primary research site, I listen very carefully to your comments. You said Season 4 was your least favorite, what with the plywood wall and all. I too used to be of the same opinion. But on my now 42nd run though of all 12 seasons, I have taken notes so that I can refer to them when thinking about each season. I've changed my mind about Season 4. Under my heading of "Other Important Events", I have more entries for Season 4 than any other. A LOT of stuff was packed in Season 4. For instance: Conkey, Phil Collins, and The Green Bastard were first introduced in Season 4. The great "Supervisor of the Year" episode was too. Also, the old people -- Rita MacNeil and her band-- harvesting dope plants and singing "Working Man". The KOD "Slice" dancing pizza parlor, A deranged Mr. Lahey blows up Barb's trailer with Ricky in it! And Mr. Lahey , in a dress, threatens to kill Ricky at the downtown Dartmouth dope truck crash site are all Season 4 events.

One more thing I forgot to mention was how sorry I was to hear of "J&K Variety" closing. With such a large trailer park across the street, I would have thought they would have had ample customers. Too bad.

(also) •Interested in the Hotel area (baby Hotel). •Or where the trailer flipped on the chase and bubbles is feeding the cows he says "pretend you know me" •Oh season 1 has us up the hill looking down from where Levi and Desiree live... Notice these locations tried to avoid filming all the seasonal fog? There was also really a lot of wind up there too in these places. Cheers !

The only "Motel" area I can remember -- it may not be the place you are referring to -- is that old dilapidated motel Julian bought. That one is the old Palliser Motel in Truro, NS on Tidal Bore Road. It was a significant must-visit landmark motel and restaurant back in the day, but sadly now torn down. Google "Palliser Motel" for more info.

I thought Westphal Park on Cocoa Street was where they filmed the intro, and Season 4 is the best season of all time! S4: E4 Green Bastard S4: E5 Conky S4: E8 Working Man I'm a big TPB fan, but anything after season 6 don't compare to the first six seasons.

Ok so 2 questions. 1) Which trailer park because I literally SHOW ALL OF THEM IN ORDER. 2) I'm guessing that you meant "beginning" and not "bigging". You do realize that this is a fiction show and they are not REALLY called Sunnyvale. I tell you the REAL names of the trailer parks that they used for "Sunnyvale". The sign is what they call a "prop" in films. So the sign is most likely at Sweartnet studios where they keep their stuff from the show.

I did this same thing like 5 years ago. I thought I was the only one that really wanted to know that bad otherwise I'd have made a video. I went about finding the locations the same way too. Back then, bible hill's had street views for the hole park and the park w the power plant in the back, you could street view like 2 blocks into the park

Did you happen to notice in the season three small "Tee" park that when you were looking in from street view, the older green trailer was still there. But when you did the higher up view from the sky, it was gone.

Dustin: I'm watching the black and white Trailer Park Boys Pilot Episode. Do you know what trailer park this was filmed in? It does not look like the Woodbine trailer park; there's no metal traffic barrier at the end of any of the streets in Woodbine.

I'm from NS. More specifically Lakeside/Timberlea "governors lake" season 3. It's pronounced TIMBERLEE not Lea. And it's called lakeside trailer park. Even thought it's in Timberlea.

No it's not called the Lakeside trailer park though. I live a 5 minute walk up the road in Lakeside in another trailer park. The Season 3 Trailer Park is on the Timberlea side called Timberlea Mini Home Park. I walk by it and its sign everyday.
