The quindent was unique. I've never seen or heard of anything like that prior to BvS: DoJ. I thought it was gonna b fixed for the 2nd film. Ricou's trident was the fanciest of them all. If I had my own, I would like it to b a mixture to the 2. As for Posident's, for the past decade since 2010, I don't like how they've made his in any story square-like instead of round and curved.

I have a theory that Atlan's trident and Black trident are two parts of Posiedon's trident since they are the ones which seem to be stand out while the other tridents are just made for the person who uses it.

Since Darkseid won, Arthur never went through his “hero journey” and never reclaim the lost trident so he instead uses Atlan’s first trident before he made the iconic trident we know

Black manta pretty much really good in every type of weapons from melee to firearm. Its not a surprise he can use trident properly, even though the difference is his trident is a special one. Since it cursed and will given Its power to someone with strong will but greedy and evil enough to wild Its power.
