Standard wait time in any American ER if you are not actively dying is 5-6 hours. Basically, American health care really isn't that much better or worse than a lot of places with government-run health care (and actually, about 1/3 of our citizens were covered by either Medicare or Medicaid BEFORE Obamacare), it's just that it costs twice as much, leaving us less to spend on stuff like education.
