They vote to turn their own state into a collectivist craphole, flee the consequences of their choices when the people they themselves appointed to represent and do their will do just that and make the state unlivable, and then when they make it to territories made greener by people making wiser and more responsible choices with their lives, the first thing they do the moment they have the chance is impose political violence upon their new neighbors to degrade it into the same leftist dystopia they departed from; because they're tribalist teatwanks who couldn't connect the calamitous consequences to their virtue signaling via voting if God spent forty days with them and skyscraper-sized stacks of spreadsheets on Mount Sinai. Hell, I live in Reno, Nevada, and it's an open secret that the rising homeless population here, especially of the unrepentant addict variety, is entirely because San Francisco and Sacramento treat this town like it's their personal human waste basket. Following the Mexican Cession of 1848, the U.S. didn't name us 'New Mexico' after the country of Mexico like so many Americans believe. All they did was translate the name Spain had already given us several centuries prior.

Basically, American health care really isn't that much better or worse than a lot of places with government-run health care (and actually, about 1/3 of our citizens were covered by either Medicare or Medicaid BEFORE Obamacare), it's just that it costs twice as much, leaving us less to spend on stuff like education.
