About Krizalid I wouldn't be surprized if he actually behaves like Krohnen did but on his own way. After all he died because he was betrayed by his superiors, and surely he hasn't forgotten that. Plus once alive he probably also remembered he wasn't the original K and that might actually be disturbing him. If he reappears again I really doubt he'll have the same motives as before.

This is why I love this channel. Your respect for the lore and all characters involved shines in every episode.

The Team Samurai ending is honestly a joke to both Mizuki and the SamSho series, now that we know that it takes in the same universe as KOF just in the past. Also yes I do agree, XV needs a story expansion to redeem it so badly especially when pretty much every other dev but SNK is doing it now.

04:02 I actually think the "Heaven Gate" technique renamed as "God Press/Gigantic Pressure" by Rugal is actually a Goenitz technique. In that move they slide on a gust of wind and the name "Heaven Gate" fits better with a Goenitz technique. I guess that Rugal learned it from him when they fought and Mature learned it from Goenitz directly. The "Death Row" tecnique from Vice is a variant of the Heaven Gate too... I guess. 🤔

I really wish more characters made it into KOF XV considering this video. Plenty of questions unanswered by their absence.

i must admit i didn't expect such a video im surprised (good job btw shoryu ) this makes me even more yearning for krizalid and ESPECIALLY igniz return , i also like the idea of mizuki and ron joining the bunch might as well put them in boss challenge

Keep in mind Rugal technically didn’t come back his appearance in 15 is non canon which is why he doesn’t have any interactions with the other teams or members

K' and Kula should've teamed up with Krizalid in XV. and XV should've answered much more questions.

I really hope that they add Krizalid in a possible Season 3 of the game or maybe a free update.

Krizalid remains the most tragic, at least to me, and redeemable of all the SNK bosses He's no SIMP

The Shun'Ei/Verse Saga could've done Better, but yet it was a Wasted Potential, most Resurrected Characters hardly have a purpose in the Plot and then just called it a Day, the Writing isn't Bad but it just felt really Lazy, not to mention that KOF 15 is the Last Chapter which sounds absolutely Unfortunate, Let this be a Lesson to improve all these Mistakes in either the next KOF Installment or a Story Expansion DLC for KOF 15.

I want to see Krizalid and Igniz return in The King of Fighters XV and I would love to see Mizuki Rashojin to be playable for the first time in The King of Fighters XV

Team Orochi obviously was revived to make their long awaited second album. Fans have been waiting for some chart toppers from CYS

KOF does answer questions that are open, they're very good at that. Or maybe Shun'ei didn't catch on as much as they wanted. It's obvious his and the girl's power are related to the bosses but I'm fine with or without it. I'm not a fan either, his power is cool though. They could get answered in 16.

On the Mizuki thing, I took it as being given another shot at life making her change from how she used to be. Like the opposite of Rugal who, after coming back from Hell and being given a second chance, goes right back on his bullshit. Also there was never confirmation that XV is the saga finale. It was just thrown out as what they were thinking of doing early in development.

King of Fighters 15 as a whole is a fun game and I like a lot of the story beats in there but one of the things I think that's a big missed opportunity is the endings of certain characters not answering questions or furthering things that have been established in the past and in quotes when fighting certain people. More on that second part for further explanation would be when you fight Heidern as Rugal he says something specifically to Heidern in relation to when he took his eye. If you do the reverse Heidern doesn't say anything to Rugal at all and doesn't even mention how Rugal killed his wife and daughter in the past or how he he feels about getting revenge on him or anything like that there's no unique quote coming from Heidern to Rugal. Another one would be when you are Andy and you fight geese Andy doesn't say anything to him. They should really add more unique quotes when it comes to certain characters who should say something to everyone and vice versa.

Also, don't forget... Ash was originally faded with the "grandfather paradox," which means resurrecting Ash couldn't be done by himself - it means Saiki is also one of the revived characters as well!

Single entry characters actually have confirmed stories given that SNK released Shingo's story a few weeks ago. Saisyu compliments Shingo's growing improvement(and flame control, which needs a lot of work stated by both Saisyu and Shingo) and wishes that Kyo would see Shingo fight, and Shingo realizing that Kyo never saw his sparing match with Goro back in 14. When coming home, Shingo spots a letter address to him, which was his invitation to a KOF single entity tournament! Now Shingo can show Kyo much he improved! So yeah, single entry characters have canon stories and endings.😶

There's a lot of mysteries that haven't been solved yet about this saga, I hope we get a story expansion for KOF XV like Mortal Kombat 11.

SNK did stated while XV was planned to be the end of Shunei Saga, they said they did change their mind and they could potentially continue it in the next entry. And really, considering there are still questions, plot lines and cliffhangers that have yet to be addressed I really hope KOF XVI will be a proper conclusion to the Saga. As well as hope they will introduce actual new villains, cause this saga lacks in any new cool bad guys, since Verse, Reverse and Otoma=Raga don't have much of any proper character. And despite being a sub-boss Antonov is not even a villain to begin with so I don't count him.

I’ve been super excited to see all the Nest villains return to kof especially after K9999 made his return, I thought a team with Zero, Nameless and Krizalid would be great with igniz as a boss challenge but I realized that maybe Krizalid wouldn’t want to work with nest, I could see him team up with Khronen and Ángel since they all left nest but I think it would be way better if Krizalid Kind of formed his own rival team Teaming up with Kusanagi and you could probably fill out the last slot with a ton of characters like Clone Zero, Yamazaki, or Ron honestly I’m fine with anyone but a team made of of Krizalid and Kusanagi just sounds way too good to pass up.

I think I might have a speculation on this.... Maybe Shun'ei is a fragment of Verse because he could possibly be Shun'ei's ancestor (same for Isla and Re Verse). Either that or maybe Shun'ei could be be born with a piece of Verse's fragment and a fragment of something else (hence the blue watery right hand). Same could go for Isla and Amanda. Maybe just MAYBE Verse and Re Verse could be Otoma=Raga's *offsprings*! Overall, I just hope for a story Expansion as a DLC, so that way it can *FULLY EXPLAIN* how Shun'ei and Isla are Amplified Specter's.

I legitimately did not know that Verse had a special win quote with Sylvie. It just makes her past with NEST all the more intriguing since she was considered a failed experiment. Though it does beg the question in who took her in the first place and why? Maybe she get some interesting interactions with former NEST members to give us more context but I doubt it since she’s DLC. Thank you very much for going more into detail about Verse, Shoryugame!

I've been saying, everyone that has shown up playable in 15, either base roster, or DLC, has been seen in other character's endings, or mentioned via Verse winquote. I figured that Rugal (Verse winquote) would be coming. Then Goenitz (Team New Face ending). And I'll bet that Mizuki (Sam Sho team ending) will be coming, followed by Kriz and Igniz as Boss Rushes. Duo Lon and Shen Wu also (Liz team ending)

2:50 I really want to see Dolores's reaction after finding what Kukri did in SNK Heroines 😁 Kukri is one of the best newcomers in KOF I like how we discovered more of his personality over the years From a mysterious and generic edgelord with sharp tongue to a perv who likes to do funny poses and is a troll 🤣 But despite this he actually loves and respect his adopting mother. His journey is sweet, weird and funny. I really want a sequel of SNK Heroines. With a much better roster, costumes and interactions between the characters. You can say all about SNKH but the story, as silly as it was, was better than KOF XV

I still have optimism that we may get some questions answered and epik returns in the form of brutal Boss Challenges, granted they may not be as intense and hair pulling, throwing your control across the room rage inducing difficult as their OG iterations looking at Igniz and Mizuki Rashojin I personally think Krizalid wasn’t too difficult but with how Omega Rugal was rather tamed compared to his KOF 2002 counterpart I can expect the same for the other bosses, I still wonder how Goenitz returned in Team Awakened Orochi’s ending since there was no indication his spirit was in Verse or that ending is non canon so they did simply fan service. I also really want to see Gaidel in some way or form come as a DLC or what have you I really want to see what his powers as a Hakkesshu is I imagine he rivals Goenitz in terms of power. I also agree I’d pay full price if we got Omega Rugal as full on character with content to do justice from intro dialogue with characters he has relations with Heidern, Kyo, Geese Howard, Benimaru, maybe Chizuru and an actual story and ending as a solo entry though I was expecting Mature and Vice to return since they were in KOF14 but even then Rugal could have had a solo entry but its a shame that being free though it was a love letter to us fans and awesome gameplay wise we get the bare minimum and should some surprising day when SNK announces when we least expect a character trailer to Mizuki, Igniz and Krizalid excited we will be but it might come in the same form as Omega Rugal sadly where it can be free and a Boss Challenge and I also wonder what kind of super swag new costumes they will have and I imagine that when you defeat them you unlock it while their standard free addition is the primary classic design. I still have my deepest hopes that Wolfgang Krauser returns and as a Boss Challenge maybe you can fight him in his classic Castle stage in Fatal Fury 2 and also the Real Bout FF stage outside the entry of the Castle Grounds both that you can unlock only by defeating him as a solo fight where you beat him as a Fatal Fury character and maybe he can have a new costume you can unlock by also defeating him. Please SNK answer my call and give us more Stages too!!

I’d be willing to bet that with a Season 3 we will get another Free Update, this time with Krizalid. Goenitz was 100% guaranteed with how much of an influence he had on certain endings, and Krizalid seems like he might have been at least strongly hinted at after watching this. Ngl, I’m mainly just looking forward to the possibility of a playable, non boss version of him, that sounds SUPER cool!

3:07 Maybe, they said that Verse connects all universes/possibilities and they can only be seen as illusions considering amplified specters are fragments of Verse's power, it definitely got to mean Verse is stronger than Orochi and if it is not the case, at least Verse's existence is above Orochi because he is a multiversal being who can't die and if we remember Saiki k1lled/erase Orochi in his good ending called "the end"

I swear they didn't have a strong idea of what to do with Shun'ei and the villains this saga, and probably changed their concepts between games. Even in the KOFXIV manga the nature of Verse's powers were changed to instead summon shadow clones of the dead bosses.

Did he actually exist alongside K9999? Does that mean he has a chance to return? KOF doesn't generally have two characters with identical move sets (like Ken and Ryu in the early days of Street Fighter or echo fighters in Smash Bros), and I'd like to point out that one of Krohnen's moves has been altered. What do you guys think?

The ending where Kyo Irori and Chizuru take out Orochi together it was like SNK was saying “we’re NOT going back to that!” Poor Orochi he actually has a very cool move set out of all the bosses anyways Mizuki haha haha ha ha oh man she would be cool boss mode yes with her demon personality tho

I liked it better than nest, but SNK can do better than this. I'd actually like to see the story come down a notch from the meta-physical story with demi-gods and just get back to street level, I'm a bad guy looking to take over the world, kind of things. Personally, I'd like the Fatal Fury and AoF guys to be the heroes of the next arc. But with this many characters getting revived by Dragon Balls, it seems highly unlikely.

Mizuki was part of a silly ending Krizalid still thinks he's him and he is that guy,at least Yashiro and the others no longer suffer a fate worse than death also can we both ship Rugal and Mature already i mean we know the woman is in love with Rugal Igniz coming back would be a nightmare for those who betrayed Nests Ash's revival was needed considering he wasn't truly a "bad" guy

If the KOF14 manga is canon then Igniz won’t be back for quite some time. They showed goenitz , shermie, yashiro, Chris, krizalid and Zero being the main villains that were resurrected after when geese defeats verse and extracts his powers. But then again I’m not really sure if the manga is 100% canon or not.

great work on this video again man, win quotes and special intros/interactions might be trivial fr many but to me it was part of the fun in playing Kof and wht made Kof special among other fighting games and i agree with you that on that department KOF15 was abit of a letdown, cuz when ressurecting all the dead characters and the guest characters from other franchises they could have done so much crazy fun interactions but snk chose to be lazy sadly, so many missed opportunities in those crazy encounters ...
