I always wondered why none of the ninja just wished for the people Nadakhan took to come back, or why people like Skylar, Dareth or other side characters didnt make any wishes that couldve been beneficial.

Nadakahn might be my favourite Ninjago villain and probably the smartest villain the ninja has ever faced, he was able to manipulate and twist people's words, leaving everything they say to be subjective and said in a state of confusion/panic where they wouldn't think of the possibilities. Because of that, he was clever enough to pick off every ninja one by one, and only leaving Nya and Jay left. In fact, he technically won in getting Darla back and turning Ninjago into his home Genjago, if it wasn't for Jay's final wish Nya would be dead, Lloyd would still be permanently old and the city wouldn't be crushed by falling islands

That ending kills it tbh. It’s hard to make a personal dire situation for Jay that doesn’t cost Nya’s life for the story to progress on from those events (* cough * * cough * Crystalized). At that point, Nadakhan had screwed up Ninjago so badly. Like you said, recreating Djinnjago only for it to crumble and fall onto whatever remained of Ninjago city, as well as Lloyd’s decrepit state. And he was such a great villain, being able to twist words and break his victims of even The Ninja, and even his crew of Misfortune’s Keep, were all so compelling. And then that final wish just pulled an “It was all a dream”. Simply put, Nadakhan was a great villain, that was written into a bad, but not that bad, season (imo. I’m not the biggest fan of certain bits in Skybound)

You can’t deny, that the writers clearly blew Nya’s wishes so easily without really thinking much about it. “I wish somebody told me we’d be using wishes!” and “I really wish you hadn’t said that Cole!” Like come on! That could’ve easily been avoided! I get they wanted to make sure Jay had the last wish left, but even Lloyd and Cole’s wishes did something. Sure, Cole’s last two wishes were dumb, but at least they did something and his intentions on paper sounded effective before the wish played into effect. If you didn’t need Lloyd’s “said from the heart” vision, then Nya could’ve easily held onto at least one of her wishes and overconfidently blowing it during the Lighthouse battle next episode. But again, Lloyd’s vision exists

actually wus wishes have been revealed. 1st I wish everyone else would leave the library. result: everyone else left the library. 2nd I wish I had the power to defeat you. result: wu had an out of control power and would have destroyed everything if not for wish 3: I wish it all to go away (meaning his power) result: he got sealed in the teapot.

A lot of people don't realize this, but Clancee also made his 3rd wish before Nadakhan banished him. Clancee wished that Nadakhan would listen to what he had to say for once and he did, and even though there wasn't magic involved, I'd say it counted.

I know Nadakan is very smart and cunning and can trick people very easily. But with the one exception of Jay’s Final Wish, It kinda makes the Ninja look dumber then they are.

In my opinion, Zane was the second one to use his wishes wisely, but even Nadakan found a loophole that wasn't a loophole, thus getting captured

Kai never thinks before he speaks or acts, Nya throughout that entire season was annoyed by everyone just seeing her as the Girl Ninja, letting her pride take over most of the time. Zane often tries to separate logic from feeling, Cole is always well meaning.

Kai's 2nd wish was similar to Jay's wish, but Nadakhan did his last line only "when girls were crazy for me" and neglected the other parts as if he never said it, it's a mistake that the writers didn't notice

Usually they wished it all away because of first two wishes, especially second. Jays second wish literally could have been used against him like others, for example if nadakhan brought his crew at jays house or anything else but no he brought nya there. its nadakhans own fault he didnt catch jay

I find it satisfying that the writers made every wish come true, mainly Zane's Zane wished that whatever harm falls on him, shall be done on Nadakahn 10 fold, thus when possessed Nya died, Nadakahn got what he deserved as he killed Pixal.

I just realized why Zane’s wishes were twisted, whenever Nadakhan grants a wish, he says your wish is yours to keep, but with Zane he never said that. This might just be me being slow😂

@@toasted_sandwich Technically Jay said he wished "no one found the teapot in the first place" and never made any implication of what that would specifically mean, thus Nadakhan couldn't twist that saying and changed the course of time rewinding everything since no harm would be subjected on anyone if no one found the teapot to begin with.
