Жыл бұрынUncle Mike is Rochelle's older brother and is Chris, Drew, Tonya's uncle, and Julius' brother-in-law. He is lazy and doesn't have a job. It is known that he's in his late thirties as Chris said "He's almost forty and never got a job". He knows how to get on Julius' bad side, such as by roaming about the house in Julius' clothes without asking him, giving him outdated tickets for sports events, or even shouting his trademark salutation "Big man!" at Julius - a thing that drives Julius into wrath or causes him to imagine that Mike wants something (generally unpleasant or unacceptable) from him. "Hey 'Chelle, y'all got somethin' to eat?" or " I didn't know y'all was about to have dinner," as he repeated phrases.

Yep, Quake was the perfect pick for this role. Overall, the casting for this was epic. I can't think of any of those characters who did do well....maybe Killmoves, he was a little too old to have a mother (like Phylicia Rashad).

As much as she did for me when I was a kid, and I appreciate it all, that was 20+ years ago, and it’s disheartening to see her 50 years old, no job, no car, living on people’s living room floor, watching Netflix all day, and getting food stamps. What’s even sadder is that she was offered a high-paying job and turned it down, RIGHT AFTER she got fired from another decent paying job, both of which were remote work (from home). She hasn’t had a job in over 2 years… 🤦🏾♂️ This type of shit is more common than we think

Chelle knew better, but she let her bum brother sit on Julius' chair. Michael was definitely a nuisance to that household, not to mention a bad example to those kids. My wife would catch hell if she forces me to take care of her bum brother. Julius was right for throwing him outta his house, while she wasn't there. And when Julius asked him if he had been looking for work, and he said "it's cold out there, but warm in here", I'd have thrown him out right there and then. Quake, a comedy legend, killed this role.

4:45 this scene is perfect, bcs everybody had THAT DAY at work, and the only thing that kept you going was thinking "When I get home, I wanna do nothing but wear my sacred robe and eat my cheese grits watching TV on my chair".
