@@quinkana1 iykyk, this is a deep dive on the person that IS Luna, so if you don't want to know, don't read . . . . . . . On her alt (or should I say alt[s], and no, not the Niji stuff), where she used to play games that holo didn't have permission for yet (this was a looong time ago, mind you), you can clearly hear the "strain"-less voice she had without the "Luna voice". It seems before she was really pushing herself to do that voice, although she was always soft-spoken, when she turned that voice off, you can hear the clear difference. Nowadays, she's less active on her PL (good for her, because honestly she was always worried whether or not the holo gig would last, especially when she had her injuries before, I'm thankful Cover let her do that electone collab because it was always something she was passionate about), but the last time I heard her, it seems the "Luna voice" blended into her "natural" voice a bit, as it seemed like a mix of both cadences and tones she has.

“Otsukaresama” means roughly “thank you for your hard work/effort” it is both casual and professional and said often at work and at home. It’s not ironic/humorous, it’s a very Japanese saying that doesn’t really translate well to English “Ne” at the end of sentence means “Right?” In English imagine someone trying hard to get you to agree with something and they end the sentence with “…riiiiight?” “Nanora” is Luna’s catchphrase, not exactly sure what the meaning is, seems like babble or some made up word. As for Luna herself she’s a bit dull in a sweet and simple way which gives context to her repeating a simple message with her “signature” on it every single time there’s a death All put together, it’s a cringingly sweet/overly familiar way of saying something (otsukaresama) that as a Japanese you would have hear thousands of times over a lifetime. Imagine working at a grocery store (in America) and saying “Have a good one” to customers a million times. Then putting a personal spin on it, “Have a good one there, alrighty?” every single time. It’s different enough to get noticed/singled out Why are the other girls laughing at it? They’re kind of making fun of her, not harshly, but sort an inside joke that Luna is the punchline of. They’re not cruelly laughing at her, but they’re definitely laughing at her
