I think about how many times these seniors have played “Sing Sing Sing” during their time at Kyoto Tachibana High School - both in practice and in performances - and yet they still play it with just as much excitement and energy as they did in their first year! It really is more than just a theme song for the band.

These Waterfall Stage shows (annual for seniors only) have that wonderful impromptu feel - a "Hey let's do the show right here" vibe. Great interaction between Band and Audience. Sit still if you can while watching this! Thanks again Kris. Love from The U.K.

these are shows they do for fellow school friends and all moves are worked out by the band alone its to show what other school members could do if they wish to try and join this is why its not in uniforms and is so much fun to see as you can tell they enjoy the music and dance they do

Hello Ms. Kris, this " Water Stage " Cultural event is performed by the 3rd year Seniors. One of these members remains secretive but comments on many 2014 111th Term videos as well as her younger Sister's 118th Term 2021-2022 videos. She refers the 111th Term as the " 1,One, Wonderful " Term. It is interesting what surprises the future will bring. When we watched this in the past, we did not know that both Professor Tanaka and Marching Coach Yokoyama, black D.M. Uniform 2018 Tournament of Roses Parade, would both leave the Kyoto Tachibana in the Spring of 2018. Coach Yokoyama later became a Staff Member of the O-VILS Entertainment Group. Marching Coach Yokoyama divided his coaching time between about 1/2 a dozen High Schools. Lo and behold the 111th's Drummer " MentaPu ". After graduation she joined the college level marching band organization D.C.I. for about five years. " Mentapu " in about 2020 or 2021 became the new Marching Coach N. Shima. She is usually seen wearing black slacks, white tee shirt or long sleeve white blouse sometimes topped with a black blazer. She is usually seen walking at the front of the Band. Since then, with the rule change the 118th, 119th, and 120th Terms all have won the Gold/ Gold Awards. Three Terms in a row. A feat almost done with the 105th, 106th, 107th (Yuina Mita's) Term. The rule back in 2010 was there would be no more than two sequential Gold/ Gold Awards given to a school. The 107th Term was robbed, and since the rule has been changed. K.T. is the first triple winner. Anyways, that's how in a few years things change and the results. Anyways now every year I recognize at least one of the Kyoto Tachibana Members. Now you will to I've been wondering what Coach Shima will wear in the 2025 Tournament of Roses Parade. Will she borrow Coach Yokoyama's Black D.M. Uniform? It will be fun to see. " Hey! "

The seniors in the band put this show on for their classmates every year. Sometimes the seniors do not have enough percussion members to sound strong so they have junior or even freshmen band members sit in but not wearing the same outfits.

They are having fun with water guns and throwing candy at the people.

Hi Everyday with Ms. Kris, this video embodies enthusiasm. Doesn't it? This is a Senior only event held in September at the School " Water Stage ", but don't look for water as there is none. One these events is held annually.

They are performing so hard because the junior high school students who are coming to see this may join the band the following year. It's hard to get new band members every year.
